The feisty rapper revealed after a recent performance that her debut album will arrive in stores this October. There are not many other details at press time regarding Cardi's debut album. I am glad that Atlantic Records is deciding to strike while the iron is hot. "Bodak Yellow" is currently the #3 song in America. Typically labels like to put out multiple singles before an album's release but "Bodak" is too huge to ignore. If you all were unaware of it but for some time Tiny Harris(T.I.'s ex wife) and Tamar had fallen out over unknown reasons. Well T.I. called out both women after Tiny posted a happy birthday shout out to her godson which is Tamar Braxton's son, Logan. Azealia back in the studio Azealia Banks previewed a new untitled song today via her social media which features Safaree, ex-boyfriend of Nicki Minaj. Trina gets bad In a surprising turn of events, French Montana brought out his rumored ex-girlfriend, Trina during the Miami leg of the Bad Boy reunion tour. Trina makes cameo in video Frank Ocean finally released his new album via Apple Music as reported. The album, now titled, "Blond" features Ocean with green hair and his face covered. "Boys Don't Cry", the album's original title is now part of a book that Ocean will feature in several pop up shops around the world including in Chicago and L.A. As far "Blond" guests include Beyoncé, Jazmine Sullivan, and Kanye West. I'm currently listening to the album as I speak. I'm going to be honest, I'm not really feeling what I've heard so far. Lil' Wayne has suffered yet another seizure. This is the second seizure he's had in two months. People are starting to get concerned and rightfully so. Omarion and his baby mama Apyl Jones have broken up and Jones has taken her thoughts to social media. Jones' words prompted Omarion to issue his own statement. Jones also says the #BlackLivesMatter movement had nothing to do with their breakup in a video via social media. Sources say Omarion's unwillingness to tie the knot played a party in the demise of the relationship. Apryl sees herself as more than just a baby mama and certainly she should. I want to first start by saying prayers go out to the families, friends, and loved ones who lost someone due to the Orlando club shooting. It is a very sad and unfortunate event. Now on to some music news, Lil' Wayne suffered a seizure during a flight and had to have an emergency landing. Lil' Wayne tweeted from his Twitter account informing fans "thanks for the prayers". VH1 has revealed that they will honor Queen Latifah and Missy Elliott for this year's "Hip Hop Honors". The telecast this year will honor women in Hip Hop. No offense to Queen Latifah and Missy Elliott but they already have numerous accolades and awards. I'm not sitting here saying they are not deserving of this honor either. I just feel like female rappers like Da Brat, Lil' Kim, Foxy Brown, and Trina deserve to be honored as well. I'm interested in seeing who else they decide to honor. So there was a report I read that Rihanna was allegedly upset at Jay Z and Tidal for her recent album rollout of "Anti". Even though the album is now a hit, it was revealed the album only sold 460 copies its in first week. Tidal blamed a system error for the album leaking out two days prior to its release which resulted in free downloads of the album. In the coming weeks, Rihanna's album sales have benefited from her hit single, "Work" and her name alone. The album is approaching gold status so I think she'll be okay in the long run. Things got a little too real for R&B singer Kehlani. The singer attempted to take her life yesterday after news spread about her relationship via social media. She is currently recovering in the hospital and many people have send prayers her way. Let's pray for a speedy recovery for the Grammy nominated star. He clowned Meek for his career being over to him simply needing to get Nicki(Minaj) pregnant so he can collect child support. First Future stated that his new album will be a "classic" and then he lunged into a full blown attack on Ciara.
