Any news is good news. Woohoo! It looks like we may be getting some new Janet Jackson music in the near future. Janet's longtime collaborator Jimmy Jam tweeted that we will receive some new Janet news. What could it be though? A new album? A new single? I guess we will all have to wait and see. I said previously that I wouldn't mind if Janet did a secret album or did an iTunes release like Beyoncé and then released it physically. Speaking of new music Miguel recently tweeted that he has logged studio time with Raphael Saadiq of Toni Tony Tone! fame and the legendary DJ Premier. Anyway I was just reading that Miguel is hard at work on a new album. The wish list of artists include Kanye West and J. Cole among others. Look for a new Miguel album this Fall. In other Miguel news, congratulations are in order for the singer as his album Kaleidoscope Dream was recently certified Gold for sales of over 500,000 copies.

Miguel -- the guy behind the smash hit "Adorn" and "#Beautiful" with Mariah Carey -- was arrested for driving drunk in L.A. early this morning ... TMZ has learned. Law enforcement sources tell us ... California Highway Patrol officers initially flagged the 27-year-old singer's 2013 BMW X6 for speeding and tinted windows on an L.A. freeway around 2:15 AM. During the stop, officers noticed the singer reeked of booze ... and performed various field sobriety tests, which he bombed. Miguel -- full name Miguel Jontel Pimentel -- also took a breathalyzer and blew a .10 and .11 ... which is over the .08 legal limit in CA. Miguel was then arrested for DUI and hauled to a nearby station where he was booked ... and released a few hours later on $5,000 bail. According to his booking sheet, Miguel is 5'7" and 140 pounds. Janelle Monae has revealed her new album The Electric Lady will be released on September 10. The album features the Erykah Badu assisted-single Q.U.E.E.N. and collaborations from R&B luminaries such as Miguel and Prince. Speaking of new albums...Mary J. Blige is back in the studio working on a new album. Originally the singer was working on a Christmas album(which I read was scrapped) in favor of a full length studio album. One duet we can all possibly look forward to is one with Rapture -singer Anita Baker. If you recall it was Anita Baker's Rapture song that got Mary her big break. I'm glad because while I wouldn't mind a Christmas album from Mary I'm actually more excited about a new album from her. Someone who was heavily influenced by both Mary and Anita is Fantasia. The singer who has released her new album a few months ago is finally set to release her new video the Kelly Rowland assisted-single Without Me . The video is set to premiere on July 1. 

Mariah Carey was spotted overseas with Miguel. The two are responsible for the current hit #Beautiful. #Beautiful will appear on Mariah Carey's new album The Art Of Letting Go due July 23. Word is that Mariah and Miguel are shooting a video perhaps for #Beautiful Remix or perhaps a totally different track. Nothing has been confirmed as of yet but stay tuned. #Beautiful is currently one of my favorite songs out right now and I'm anticipating what Mariah will give us on this upcoming album. Moving on...I was reading up on one of the music forums I frequent. It was revealed by producer Bangladesh that the track Diva (performed by Beyonce) was originally intended for Keyshia Cole. Keyshia liked the track but wasn't completely satisfied with it and that's when Bangladesh later shopped the song to Beyonce(who liked the track). Miguel's stage dive may land him in hot water. We remember during the Billboard Awards when Miguel dived across the stage and landed on an audience member's head? Well the audience member may be going forward with a lawsuit if it proves that she may have a brain injury. I think Miguel may wanna stop all that jumping around for awhile anyway. If I recall he did that before and fell off stage. Moving on...Kelly Rowland has revealed that her songs Girl and Bad Habit recorded with Destiny's Child was about her abusive relationship. It's a subject that is explored on her new hit single Dirty Laundry . Who would of thought?

Mariah collaborated with a number of producers including R. Kelly, The-Dream, Jermaine Dupri, Mike Will Made It, Bryan-Michael Cox, and more.

The wait is almost over for the premiere video and single to Mariah Carey's new single Beautiful featuring Miguel. Word spread quickly over the Internet that Mariah had recently shot a video with Miguel. Mariah is said to perform the song on Good Morning America on May 24. Be sure to look out for that!

Hey everyone! I was reading through some of my favorite websites and I saw an article about Love & Hip Hop star K. Michelle. The story centered around her possible departure from Love & Hip Hop Atlanta . Its no secret that K Michelle has basically beefed with everyone on the cast and has reportedly worn out her welcome. So what's the next best thing to do? Give the girl her own show and recast her on the New York version of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. Surprised? Well that is the word on the street! As for K. Michelle's own show she would serve as host as a "serial cheaters" type show which is currently in pre-production. Looking to add some spice to the New York Love & Hip Hop K. Michelle might prove to be a ratings winner there. The last season of New York struggled a bit with ratings. I, myself watched the last 10 minutes of the first episode and it was pretty much a wrap for me afterwards. So what do you think about K. Michelle getting her own show ...

Miguel takes viewers behind the scenes as he shoots the video to his new single How Many Drinks featuring Kendrick Lamar. Personally I always thought the song should of been a single but Kendrick is not needed in my opinion. While we're on the subject of single choices Miguel should of released Don't Look Back or Use Me as his second single instead of Do You. But then again what do I know?
