You know R&B releases get pushed back more than Lebron James' hairline. Such is the case with Ashanti's Braveheart album. Originally due last year; the album has suffered yet another pushback. This time the album will be released on March 26. eOne Records confirms that this is the new date and a new single from Ashanti is well on its way. Soul legend Stephanie Mills has spoken out on artists like Brian McKnight and Erykah Badu and their desire to shock. Brian McKnight has ruffled quite a few feathers with this latest selection of songs including those about "pussy". Stephanie feels that some of these artists who she referred to as "older" artists do shocking things like this to stay relevant. She also went on to do discuss how Erykah Badu felt the need to take off her clothes in the Window Seat video. Though she did proclaim her love for both artists she wasn't exactly hating just stating her opinion. Like everyone else I was surprised by Brian McKnight and his last few songs and Erykah Badu lost me years ago. Brian McKnight is returning with a new album; "Just Me" to be released on July 12 in stores and online. The album contains the first single; "Fall 5.0". I haven't heard the song yet but I'm sure some of you have already. Jill Scott has pushed up the release of her new album; "The Light Of The Sun" to June 21. The album contains the singles; "Shame" and "So In Love" featuring Anthony Hamilton. The album's original date was June 28. This is totally off subject but shouldn't Kelly Rowland be releasing her new album in June? VH1 is getting ready to unveil a new season of one of its signature shows; "Behind The Music". I'm not sure when the new season will start but some of the artists subject to the show will be Missy Elliott, Ice Cube, and Mary J. Blige.

Check out this list of album that are named after astrology signs. Aquemini, Outkast The members of Outkast, Big Boi and Andre3000 put together their astrology signs; Aquarius and Gemini to form the title. Libra, Toni Braxton Toni Braxton is a Libra and in her album notes for "Libra", she quotes the many qualities and traits of a Libra. Libra Scale, Ne-Yo I believe Ne-Yo is a Libra. According to Ne-Yo though this album tells a story. Gemini, Brian McKnight I feel if an artist is featuring an astrology sign in their album title, likely they are from that said sign. R&B singer LLOYD has parted ways with his longtime record label The Inc.- just a month after ASHANTI walked out of her contract at the music firm. Ashanti left the label, run by music mogul Irv Gotti, in May (09) after years of reportedly frosty relations with The Inc. bosses. And Lloyd has now followed her out the door after releasing three albums with the company - but insists the split was amicable. He tells AllHipHop.com, “I’m ready for a change. There’s no bad blood. I just feel I need to take more control over my career and get a fresh start. Hopefully Irv can understand my position." The movie is being hailed as the new "Waiting To Exhale". I don't agree with that comparison but I have to see the movie to fully understand that tagline. Oh by the way the ladies look ravishing. Ebony always has very nice and classy covers. Whereas other magazines like VIBE have such a desire to shock that their covers often fall flat in recent years especially.
