Foxy Brown reportedly showed up to a Philly nightclub and didn't perform and upset patrons. Based on what I've read, the nightclub kept playing Lil' Kim songs prior to her getting on stage. After that it was reported that Foxy stayed in the corner before being booed by patrons who chanted "Remy Ma" as she exited the building. I didn't see a flyer or anything prior to Foxy's "gig" cause usually if she's performing a flyer would of made some of her Instagram fan sites but I don't recall seeing one. Expect Foxy to speak out soon on this matter via her Instagram page that I'm blocked on. 50 Cent is getting his own late night talk show on BET. The show is titled, "50 Central" and I'm not sure what the show will consist of but if anything we can expect plenty of jabs thrown at Diddy and Rick Ross. An old banner Things continue to heat up between Meek Mill and The Game and now Sean Kingston. The whole origin of the beef between Meek Mill and The Game stem from them both being in the same club one night, the same night Sean Kingston was there and robbed of $300,000 in jewelry. Apparently Meek Mill ratted out The Game and his squad as being the ones responsible for the theft. Fast forward to last week, Game appeared on stage during a show and chanted "Fuck Meek Mill" and how he wishes to "beat his ass". Now Sean Kingston has entered the ring in a profanity filled tirade against the Game. Hey people! I know its very rare that I greet you all personally but I wanted to say this post is being labeled the "Shade Edition". A lot of shade was thrown last night and over the last few days. So I'll start with Lee Daniels, creator of "Empire" who shad some words for his dear friend Mariah Carey. He said "Mariah shouldn't do reality TV!". Mariah responded by saying her new show, "isn't a reality show". Take that Lee Daniels! Ha! On a totally different note, Madonna is facing a backlash after her Prince tribute fell on deaf ears. Madonna was joined by Stevie Wonder for a somber duet of Prince's "Purple Rain". While I feel the tribute left a lot to be desired, at least Billboard did pay tribute to Prince, had they not, people would of been upset about that. Immediately after the performance, BET shaded Madonna by posting a 15 second clip with the caption, "Yeah, we saw that. Don't worry. We got you"....

The Beyoncé fans and the Rihanna fans are beefing after a shady tweet from Rihanna surfaced. Rihanna liked and retweeted a tweet that poked fun at the fact that one of Rihanna's song, "Desperado" was in a higher chart position than Beyoncé's "Formation"which was performed at the Super Bowl. The chart in question is the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart, which is the songs that just missed the chart. It seems like many have stayed away from the controversial song, "Formation" which is why its yet to chart on the Hot 100 chart but it has charted on the R&B charts. "Formation" likely won't go down as Beyoncé's most successful single but I'm sure she has plenty of hit songs in her pocket from her upcoming album. Azealia Banks is set to release her new single sometime today. The single is entitled, "The Big Big Beat". She describes the song as a "Detroit House Style Vibe" with "Diana Ross teas". It is the first single to be released from her "Slay Z" mixtape. While we await on that, just yesterday I was talking about Beyoncé and how she was performing at the Super Bowl. Hello all! So a few days ago K. Michelle announced that she was returning to "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta". Now this is something I definitely didn't see coming. If that's not enough her VH1 reality show will return in January as well. Then there's K.'s third album that she will be releasing in March, so expect a K. Michelle overload in 2016. In other music news, VH1 Soul will now be known as BET Soul. This news comes directly for Viacom who owns both networks including MTV. What do you all think about that? Videos are not as viable as they used to on the networks. Videos are made now more so YouTube, VEVO, and other third party sites. It's funny because MTV used to be primarily known for showing videos as well as BET and VH1. My, how things have changed. Personally my attention is so short these days, videos don't interest.
