I was surprised when I heard that The Weekend was mad at Drake for breaking the bro code and then when I found out why, I was even more shocked. Well it seems that Drake is dating The Weeknd's ex-girlfriend. I don't know the name of the women in question but when you think about all of the women linked to both The Weeknd and Drake, its quite exhausting. Drake is a womanizer so him shacking up The Weeknd's ex is not a huge surprise when you think about it. Plenty of women throw themselves at Drake(and The Weeknd) and Drake throws himself at plenty of women. Maybe these two can patch things up in the long run and give us another hot collaboration. In the meantime, well continue to enjoy their old collaborations and the ones The Weeknd does with Future. In other news... I'm on a roll today as the music news keeps on coming and after all its a Monday so there is a flurry of news and stories all over. Check it out! Mariah Carey Debuts New Track! NY's Hot 97 to Play New Mariah Song "100%" Tomorrow! Earlier today, DJ Envy of the radio station Hot 97 in New York, played the new Mariah song "100%" on his show! Jermaine Dupri who is the producer of the record talked about it on his Twitter page. Jermaine Dupri : "envy is playing the new mariah record me and b cox did on hot 97 right now. make sure yall hit hot 97 and request that new mariah . the record is called 100%." Unfortunately, due to the very short notice, it seems like nobody was able to tune in for the premiere of "100%." But good news! DJ Envy in his last tweet says: DJ Envy: "Guys..I know u wanna hear the mariah joint...they are holding me back ill try 2 get it on..but will play 2 moro at 2 for sure." Looks like Mariah is already...

Last week Lil' Kim's "Download" was the most added song at radio signaling that this song is headed to hit single status. While there has been dozens of behind the scenes footage of the "Download" video, this one is a little more in depth. The origin of the song is explained as well as some other things you might find interesting. For Hip Hop News & Entertainment at DimeWars.Com "Download" is one of my favorite songs right now and it makes me curious to hear what Kim comes up with this time. There is no release date for Kim's upcoming album but I figure it will be soon. I remember reading that "Download" wasn't Kim's first single for her new album but for a DJ Envy compilation. In last week's issue of Billboard magazine, the magazine reported that "Download" was indeed the first single to her new album. I'm betting on Billboard instead of some fan who claims to have some inside information.
