Floetry's debut album; 'Floetic' earned the duo many accolades the whole world over. Unfortunately their time together as a duo was short lived. They would only release another album after this which was sadly overlooked; I even overlooked it. 'Floetic' is a really good album and it has a very smooth and relaxing feel to it. The writers behind many of these songs on here are responsible for other hits such as Michael Jackson's 'Butterflies' and you can tell when listening to them. Lead singer Marsha Ambrosius has a very delightful voice to listen to and I couldn't imagine anyone else singing these songs but her. Some of the highlights here include; 'If I Were A Bird', 'Ms. Stress' and 'Hey You'. I could go on and on. I remember when I bought this album back in 2003. Hello everyone! You remember Floetry right? Well you certainly can't forget lead singer; Marsha Ambrosius who was the songstress of the duo. After Floetry disbanded Marsha struck out on her own as a songwriter namely for artists such as Mario and Sterling Simms. Now Marsha will release her debut album, 'Late Nights & Early Mornings' this June. Recently the singer leaked out the song; 'Put It On Repeat'. Hello everyone! You remember the group Floetry right? Well if you do I'm sure you remember the songstress of the group; Marsha Ambrosius. For a moment Marsha was associated with Dr. Dre's Aftermath Records and it was speculated that her debut album would be released by the imprint. Now Marsha has revealed that she is signed to J Records; home of Alicia Keys and Mario among others. I'm not sure when a solo album will surface but I'm sure in due time. Marsha's label mate Usher is having a hard time as song after song more than likely from his new album, 'Raymond vs. Raymond' keep leaking!
