Khia says she has no beef with Trina despite dissing her over the years. Khia was recently asked on air during her YouTube show what the origin of her beef with Trina was. Khia went on to say that it was a "gag" and shade is naturally thrown throughout Hip Hop. In another video Khia blasted K. Michelle who was the victim of a sex tape leak out on social media. Several 10 second clips of K. Michelle engaging in oral sex and masturbation surface but K. Michelle has denied the claims. Khia took K. Michelle to task for calling out her "Love & Hip Hop" co-star Mimi Faust for her sex tape when she is now doing the same thing. What do you think? Is K. Michelle a hypocrite? I like think so but that's neither here nor there. In other music news, Kelis is in the studio working on new music. I wonder what she's cooking up? I was listening to "Kelis Was Here" last night and remembering how great an album it is. I prefer Kelis when she does R&B and I...

Chris Brown says his new album will be titled, "Royalty", after his daughter. The album's first single, "Liquor" recently got the video treatment and should be airing any day now. Are you looking forward to Chris' new album and what do you we think about him naming it after his daughter? Do you think it will show a softer side of Chris? I guess we shall wait and hear. :) In this week's "Who Knew?" news..Kelis performed at this year's Afro Punk show and she revealed that she was pregnant. And by the looks of the picture in rotation, she looks like she's pretty far along. Of course now everyone is wondering who is the baby fatha? Nas? Ha! Wouldn't that be something if Nas and Kelis were back together? But Kelis is so low profile, I had no idea she was pregnant let alone dating anyone. I mean in Kelis' 16 year career I can only think of two men Kelis was ever linked to, one being Nas(obviously) and Pharrell but on second thought ...

Kelis unveils the new single cover art for her new single Friday Fish Fry. Friday appears on Kelis' latest album FOOD released back in April. Kelis has also announced her 4th single which will be Forever Be. What do you all think of Kelis' new single cover?

Any news is good news. Woohoo! It looks like we may be getting some new Janet Jackson music in the near future. Janet's longtime collaborator Jimmy Jam tweeted that we will receive some new Janet news. What could it be though? A new album? A new single? I guess we will all have to wait and see. I said previously that I wouldn't mind if Janet did a secret album or did an iTunes release like Beyoncé and then released it physically. Speaking of new music Miguel recently tweeted that he has logged studio time with Raphael Saadiq of Toni Tony Tone! fame and the legendary DJ Premier. There is no word on when we can expect new Miguel music but I'm sure its gonna be dope! I'm actually excited to hear that Miguel is working with Raphael. I think Raphael is seriously underrated as a producer. I like the work he did on Kelis' Tasty album and countless other albums. And speaking of  Kelis! The singer recently released her new album FOOD. In a recent inte...

Kelis celebrates the release of her sixth album FOOD which was released on April 22. Here the singer performs the album's first single Jerk Ribs which was released last year. Check it out!

Chal is serving the TEA! Hey y'all! Happy Sunday! I was just reading that Kelis' new album FOOD has leaked a month in a half before its April 22 release date. The album features the first single Jerk Ribs. A video was serviced for the single awhile back but the video never made it to my blog, only because I only post videos from YouTube or VeVo or Worldstarhiphop. And speaking of new albums J-Lo's new album is shaping up to be quite the collaborative effort. The diva recently released the guest list of artists on her new album including Maxwell, Wiz Khalifa, Robin Thicke, Future, Chris Brown, and Tyga. Wow! Sounds like quite the lineup. There is still no release date on when we can expect a new J-Lo record. But the question is do you even care? Well from what I've heard so far I have been that interested but I can be persuaded with more music. And I know I'm a little LATE but VH1 has cancelled Single Ladies ! Thanks goodness. The show was boring and wasn't ...

Kelis has unveiled the cover art to her new album FOOD due on April 22. The album features the first single Jerk Ribs . A video for the song was shot and is set to debut anytime now. FOOD is reported to be available in Standard and Deluxe editions and will be a two disc set. So what do you all think about the new Kelis album cover? I like it personally. It gives a slight 60s vibe and you can always count on Kelis to go left when everyone else goes right.

Erykah Badu may be quiet on the music scene but that doesn't mean she isn't working. The singer is the new face of Givenchy. She was handpicked personally by one of the designers. So be on the lookout for Erykah as she struts her stuff for Givenchy. Kudos to her! In other music news...Kelis is readying her sixth album titled Food to be released this Spring via UK indie label Ninja Tune. The album will feature the previously released song Jerk Ribs and Rumble . Videos were shot for both songs and will hopefully premiere in the coming weeks or months. I love Kelis so I'm excited about her new album. I was lost with the last album but it seems like she will finally give me what I want this time around.

Kelis has been out of the spotlight for awhile. Now the singer is back shooting a video for her new single Jerk Ribs , which leaked out this past Summer. She is also shooting a video for another single titled Rumble . I'm personally hoping Kelis goes back to her Urban stylings that she's abandoned with her last few albums. I think she shins the best as an Urban artist. Just saying! The Weeknd is going on tour with Justin Timberlake. The Canadian born singer will be supporting his newest album Kiss Land in stores and online now. The tour stars this Wednesday November 6 at Brooklyn's Barclays Center.

As we've learned in recent months Keyshia Cole is not one to bite her tongue. The singer recently took to Twitter to air her frustrations with BET. Keyshia Cole says there won't be a new season of her BET reality show Keyshia & Daniel: Family First . Keyshia took to Twitter stating that BET has yet to pay her husband basketball star Daniel "Boobie" Gibson. Just last week the NBA star was arrested for assault and battery when someone threatened his wife. Keyshia Cole's most recent album Woman To Woman has sold 342K units to date. On a completely different note...Pharrell Williams recently admitted that Kelis is the one who helped him transform his style. The two who USED to work closely together saw their relationship dissolve after Kelis' 2003 album Tasty . Here's to me hoping the two will collaborate again in the near future. And closing out...K-Ci & JoJo of Jodeci are back with a new album titled My Brother's Keeper . The album will be...

Hello all! I have some music news for the music news obsessed. Read on below! Kelis has revealed that her new album tentatively titled FOOD will be released in September. The album will feature the newly released single Jerk Ribs(which is one of my favorite songs right now). Is it back on? That is the question regarding the state of Lil' Kim's new album said to be produced by Bangladesh(worked with Lil' Wayne). News broke out about the producer working with Lil' Kim awhile back. Then it was later revealed that Bangladesh was no longer working with Lil' Kim on her new album. Now its said that they are working together and Kim confirmed it during her recent tour stop in New York. Lil' Kim promises a new single in June/July likely produced by Bangladesh. Welp I guess we will have to wait and see if Kim delivers or not. Chris Brown has revealed that his new album X will be released on July 16. The album features the hit single Fine China . Also on July 16... Pusha ...

Happy Birthday Rihanna! The singer turns 25. There's a rumor that Chris Brown may propose to her. Now that would be something! Kelis has been relatively quiet on the  music scene but it has been revealed she will release new music this year. Her new album will be an alternative rock album. Frank Ocean has revealed that he is working on a new album and is already 10, 11 songs into the new album. It will be the follow up to his Grammy winning 2012 album channel Orange.

The last few days have brought us a flurry of newly leaked singles and single snippets from several R&B divas. Some of the buzz for some of these ladies and their perspective singles have already reached a fever pitch among several online message boards and communities. As these ladies bid to outdo one another the bevy of releases prove that there is a strength in numbers.  With R&B music being on the decline there may be hope as several of these ladies try to reestablish their careers and put some luster back into R&B. The first three divas mentioned here have a few things in common one of those being that their names all being with the later K. Kelis Last time we heard from Kelis she was addressing her ex husband Nas and his decision to feature her wedding dress on the cover of his album for Life Is Good in stores and online July 17. When asked about her new music the singer was not as forthcoming about how far along she was. A few days later a new son...

Game is back with a new album F.I.V.E . and the title track serves as the album's first single. The song features Chris Brown & Lil' Wayne. Can't go wrong there right? The producer of the song revealed that the song should be released around Memorial Day. Who knew Game was coming back out with a new album so soon?  Miguel is reportedly working on a new album after releasing a slew of mixtapes. Recently the singer has worked with the likes of Pharrell Williams, Talib Kweli, and Diplo(producer for Usher's Climax ).  Speaking of Pharrell one of his old production duties included assisting Kelis who plans on making a return in July with a new single titled Distance . The untitled album is said to follow in the Fall. There is not much else to reveal at this point besides the fact that the song will be released in the UK first.  I'm a fan of Kelis but she lost me with the last album. I need Urban Kelis back and then I will be happy!

Many famed couples have given us an inside look into their private lives. Many of these reality TV shows are used primarily as a means of promotion. Usually following the release or finale of these perspective reality shows would follow concerts, albums, movies, and things of the like. Famed couples; whether they star in reality TV shows together or star in movies or (music) videos together; its usually a sign of doom for the relationship. Check out my list of famed couples from over the years; some still in union; some are not who have or will star in reality TV shows! Keyshia Cole & Daniel "Boobie" Gibson Keyshia Cole is no stranger to reality TV having starred in a pair of successful BET shows. Now the singer is again domination the reality TV realm with an upcoming show; "Family First". The network airing the show has yet to be announced but you can expect an announcement soon. Nas & Kelis We never got to see Nas and Kelis' MTV reality show but word ...

Busta Rhymes has had many collaborations with The Neptunes or should I say songs produced by The Neptunes and "What It Is" is perhaps one of the more popular ones. I'm scratching my head right now as I try and remember what album this is from. I think it was from a Violator(management team) compilation. This is definitely a throwback because Kelis was obviously still associated with The Neptunes. It's been eight years since Kelis last worked with The Neptunes. Funny how time flies!

There was no escaping Kelis' "Milkshake" in late 2003 when it was released. The song would eventually live on finding placements in various movies and commercials. It was the first single from Kelis' gold album; "Tasty" which is one of all-time favorites. A little tidbit; there is more than one version of the video. The first cut was re-shot in favor of a more tantalizing one I would imagine. I'm sure you can find the original one on YouTube somewhere. ---------------- Now playing: Alicia Keys - Alicia Keys - As I Am - Juiciest via FoxyTunes
