Damn Trina! Trina released a snippet of her new single; "Damn" featuring Tory Lanez tonight on her social media sites. The single will be released on Friday, January 6. Trina shot the video to the single last month in Philadelphia. Based on what I heard of the :25 second snippet, Trina just might have a hit on her hands. It doesn't hurt that she has Tory Lanez on the song who is enjoying a lot of success. One of the reasons why Trina has remained so relevant over the years is not just because she releases music consistently. It is also because she works with a lot of different artists of all spectrums; new, old, and up and coming. She also keeps up with the ever changing trends in music and that doesn't hurt.  So suddenly Chris Brown and Soulja Boy thinks that they are Floyd Mayweather and Pacquio. Trina revealed through her social media today that she is in the studio with Tory Lanez. Based on the brief snippet, the song sounds nice and could be a potential single. Trina previously collaborated with Tory Lanez on "F Love" prior to Lanez blowing up. The song was really good and severely underrated. The song didn't garner the attention it deserved but its a little harder to push through the channels when your an independent artist. Speaking of Trina, I'm wondering what the hold up is on her sixth album. She needs to release it already! Dr. Dre was spotted in handcuffs after a man called the police citing that Dr. Dre was seen brandishing a gun. Dr. Dre was not arrested. A man has been arrested for touching Justin Timberlake in the face at a golf game. Justin breezed past the man and the man rubbed his hand against Justin's face. It was a bizarre act but maybe the man was fanning out! Who knows!

Drake opened up his Summer Sixteen tour in Dallas by taking some shots at his adversaries; Joe Budden, Tyga, and Tory Lanez. Drake jokingly informed concert goers that he should of brought Joe Budden out to perform "Pump It Up". Drake also made a reference to the many artists(Tyga and Tory Lanez) that remade or ripped off his song, "Controlla". To say Drake's concert was interesting is an understatement. Personally I don't think Drake should waste his time on Joe Budden or even Meek Mill for that matter but that's just me. Brandy's record label, Chamelon Entertainment(or I think its a production company) she's with that helped her land a record deal with RCA has blasted her! After Brandy publicly complained about her label likening their business practices to slavery the label shot back saying they were reluctant to sign Brandy being that she hasn't had a hit record since the 2000's.
