Happy Birthday to Remy Ma! I don't know how old she is but if I had to guess I'd say she's about 35ish. It is also Cee-Lo Green's birthday today. Remember back in the Summer when a video leaked of Cee-Lo Green on his Samsung phone and it exploded? Everyone was genuinely concerned for Cee-Lo and it was later discovered that the video was a hoax. Anyway...Azealia Banks will release a new song tomorrow on May 31(her birthday). The untitled song is said to be a teaser to Banks' re-release of her "Slay Z" mixtape released last year. The song will appear on Soundcloud but also iTunes, Spotify, and other streaming services. Personally I can't wait to hear the new music. In other music news, I hear Beyoncé may be set to give birth tomorrow. Missy Elliott wants to do a video to her remix of "I'm Better" featuring Eve, Lil' Kim, and Trina. Will it happen? We will have to wait and see. Beauty is only skin deep Cee Lo Green of NBC's "The Voice" is making headlines after a surveillance video surfaced of him in the studio talking on a phone and it exploding and him dropping to the ground. It's being reported that the phone was one manufactured by Samsung. Samsung has faced harsh criticism in recent months after their Galaxy Note phones began exploding and causing fires. There has been no word yet from Samsung in regards to the incident. No one is sure if the phone he's using was actually a Samsung either. It's all just speculation. I would hate for it to be an Apple phone though. I do hope Cee Lo is okay though. Lil' Kim is back in the spotlight once again for accusations that she bleached her skin. Boss chick Rasheeda finally opened up her store in Atlanta called Pressed. A who's who of Atlanta showed up for the store's opening festivities including RHOA's Phaedra Parks and Kandi Burruss. Speaking of Atlanta, ATLien CeeLo Green is working on new music I'm happy to report. The album titled "Heart Blanche"(?) will find the singer hooking up with Mark Ronson(worked with Amy Winehouse) and Charlie Puth(worked with Wiz Khalifa). It's funny because my Mother was just asking what's CeeLo been up to and now I can tell her. I'm actually looking forward to CeeLo's album. I have a feeling he's going to give us something good. Last but certainly not least, Janet has released a snippet of a new song, "Love" dedicated to her fans. I'm not sure if its a full song or was it just recorded for appreciation purposes. Kelly Clarkson, Usher, Linkin Park and Nelly Furtado have just been confirmed to perform at this year's Billboard Music Awards, airing live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas May 20, on ABC. Clarkson, Usher, Linkin Park and Furtado join the list of previously announced performers including Justin Bieber, Cee Lo Green, Carrie Underwood, LMFAO and The Wanted. Monica has chosen "Here I Am" as her third single from her gold album, "Still Standing". The radio version will feature Trey Songz. "Here I Am" was originally planned to be the second single but was favored for "Love All Over Me" which was a huge hit. "Here" was produced by Polow Da Don and he is executive producing her new album. Avant's new album will be titled, "The Letter" and not "Wake Up" as I previously reported. The album will be in stores on December 7. The first single is "Kiss Goodbye". The singer will perform the new single on September 28 on "The Mo'Nique Show", the same day it will impact radio. Be on the look out for that. Cee-Lo will release his new album, "The Lady Killer" on November 9. The album is led by the single, "Fuck You" which is taking off on radio and YouTube. So did you any of you all go out and shop on Black Friday? I did. I went out and got a lot of movies and some music(well just one cd). Anyway I went later in the day. I didn't get up all at 6 a.m. or anything like I have in the past. I will say I did miss out on a few good deals I guess had I got up earlier for certain movies.
