Another day. Another Mariah Carey story. It's been reported that Mariah Carey has split from her longtime manager of three years. Her former manager is notable for landing Mariah the docu-series, "Mariah's World" on E! She also was responsible for Mariah's stint in Las Vegas and her tour with Lionel Richie. Some would argue that Mariah's former manager did more to hinder her career than help it. In other news... Tyrese is now crying tears of joy as he's received 5 million dollars from husband and wife acting team, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith(who knew they were so close with Tyrese). Rapper, Remy Ma has just signed a multi-million dollar deal with Columbia Records(Beyoncé's record label) which will release her next album. The album's first single has been revealed and its her collaboration with Lil' Kim titled, "Wake Me Up" which is said to be a Nicki Minaj dis. It was just a month or so ago when Remy Ma and Lil' Kim posed for a picture in the studio speaking of their upcoming collaboration. A video for the single has been shot and pictures acquired from TMZ show the rappers alongside a sports car and standing alongside one another in an undisclosed location. In the song, Remy is said to attack Nicki's relationship with Nas among other things. It looks like things are about to get much worse between Remy Ma and Nicki Minaj. It was announced last week that singer, Tamar Braxton had filed for divorce from her husband/manager; Vincent Herbert. Vincent Herbert was once sister Toni Braxton's manager and I believe that's how Tamar and Vince met. Tamar and Vince have been together for 9 years but I'm unsure if they've been married for 9 years or not. This news comes on the heels of Tamar's recent statement that she was quitting music to focus on rebuilding her marriage. Well since the marriage didn't work out, will Tamar resume her music career? I do believe that being on reality TV may of played a part in the dissolution of Tamar and Vince's marriage. We've all seen friendships, relationships, and marriages dissolve right in front of our eyes on reality TV all for the sake of money. Rick Ross was put on blast by his baby mother via social media making several accusations towards the rap superstar. In her social media rant, she alleges that Ross didn't call his son for his birthday but was quick to call her when he learned of her appearing on the upcoming season of "Love & Hip Hop Miami"(airing in January on VH1). She also called out Ross for being infatuated with Birdman's feud with Lil' Wayne suggesting he find more important things to do with his time like call his son. Singer turned actor Tyrese is fuming at his "Fast & Furious" co-star, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson for holding up filming for the newest installment of "FF" in favor of a standalone movie. The newest "FF" movie was slated to be released in 2019 and will now be released sometime in 2020. Okay! Big deal! The movie is still happening and as far as we know Tyrese is still attached to star in the movie. Now if Tyrese were unceremoniously dropped from the movie then I could understand the frustration. He better hope his "drag session" if we want to call it that doesn't result in him not having a job. I would think someone like The Rock has a lot of pull and may want producers to not have Tyrese involved in the film. Or they could simply decide themselves to cut Tyrese or then again they could keep him as there is no such thing as bad publicity. So Janet Jackson's friend has come out defending the singer after social media had a field day insinuating that Janet divorced her husband for a huge payout. New York's yearly Summer Jam festivities happened last night not without some drama though. Apparently one of the headliners, Future wasn't about to perform on the main stage for some reason. Fat Joe and Remy Ma performed and brought out Ashanti. I didn't see much else footage from the show except for that. In other music news, Tyrese has been seen cuddling up with actress Sanaa Lathan. Sanaa had most recently been linked up with French Montana and before that Denzel Washington. In reality TV news, Joseline and Stevie J of "Love & Hip Hop" fame have been beefing on Twitter and airing out each others personal business. Joseline has accused Stevie of being gay and liking trans girls among other things. Stevie on the other hand has alleged that he and Joseline were never married and that she's a "hoe". Foxy Brown has spoken out after being misquoted in a news article for saying that she was endorsing Trump. Nicki Minaj was seen last night during the American Music Awards throwing major shade towards Jennifer Lopez as she danced to Minaj's hit single, "Anaconda". Tyrese who just released his new album "Black Rose" is joining the second season of "Empire". At this point who isn't joining "Empire"? But we'll take it and plus people like the chemistry that Tyrese has with Taraji P. Henson so I bet whatever way he's involved, it will be good. If that's not enough Tyrese for you, he board the train in New York begging asking people to buy his new album and earlier that day(Friday) he appeared on "The View" and serenaded the show's host including Whoopi Goldberg. And to celebrate her 2 million followers on Facebook, Keyshia Cole showed her ass literally in some lace panties before deleting it. I, however was able to catch it and didn't think anymore about it. BABY BOY: Tyrese has gone on record to say that his beloved Yvette, Tariji P. Henson of "Empire" fame, with whom Tyrese co-starred with in "Baby Boy" has been sending for her character on Instagram, implying that he may be on next season of the popular FOX series. Boy! I just said a lot! Anyway a who's who of R&B and Hip Hop stars have already guested on the first season of the show. We can only imagine what the second season has in store for us. ORAL EXAM: Did Tyrese perform oral sex on director John Singleton for his role in Baby Boy ? Well that is the story floating around from an unknown comedian whose name I can't remember. The comedian claims he and Tyrese were neck in neck for the role of Jody. The comedian goes on to say that John Singleton insisted the role would go to the person who would perform oral sex on him. And the rest is history! My question is do we believe this story? I mean as funny as it is I don't quite believe it. I never though John Singleton to be gay then again Hollywood is full of closeted queens. Ciara will release Boy Outta Here featuring Rick Ross. It is being touted as the new single from her upcoming album One Woman Army due in stores this October. What happened to Sweat you ask? The singer has been making the rounds on BET most notably where she first caught acclaim. I got to see Tyrese last night on "What What Happens Live" on the BRAVO network. Tyrese appeared with Kandi and spoke about "The Real Housewives" franchise among other things. The show is a live telecast so Tyrese was sorta holding back but towards the end he started to open up...well a little!

For the next Nicki Minaj album; Nicki says her alter ego; Roman Zolanski will be more prevalent than on her debut; "Pink Friday". Roman was present on the Lil' Kim dis; "Roman's Revenge" which was one of the highlights on "Pink Friday". The song wasn't an official single but was a Trending Topic on twitter upon its release and made a slight dent in the R&B/Hip Hop and Pop charts. There is no official release date on the new Nicki Minaj album. I bet we can expect a follow up a lot sooner than the time it takes for an average female rapper to release a new album.
