Another day. Another Mariah Carey story. It's been reported that Mariah Carey has split from her longtime manager of three years. Her former manager is notable for landing Mariah the docu-series, "Mariah's World" on E! She also was responsible for Mariah's stint in Las Vegas and her tour with Lionel Richie. Some would argue that Mariah's former manager did more to hinder her career than help it. In other news... Tyrese is now crying tears of joy as he's received 5 million dollars from husband and wife acting team, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith(who knew they were so close with Tyrese). Sorry for the lack of updates guys but I'm back with a few things I wanted to talk about. First, "American Idol" is being brought back after being off the air for 2 years or so. FOX cancelled the series after 15 or so seasons and now ABC will revive the show. There is no word on who will host and sit on the judging panel. What would be interesting though is if they got Ryan, Paula, Randy, and Simon. Do you think it could happen? Perhaps, for the right price. Speaking of money, did you contribute to the Go Fund Me for TLC to kick start their new album? Well their new self-titled album will be released on June 30. Nicki is back Nicki Minaj unleashed a fiery 6 minute freestyle a few days ago taking shots at her adversaries. One of the standout lines is "I'm about to drag these bitches like Harambe(sp) did the kid". Harambe(sp) is a take on the gorilla that was killed after the kid fell into his habitat and was dragged across the water. Nicki also shouted out Foxy Brown. I haven't heard the full 6 minute freestyle. I only heard like two lines of the song.  Drake was caught on tape fuming after he learned that his DJ had been robbed of $3 million dollars worth of jewelry. Luckily the caught the guy that was responsible. What I wanna know is what DJ besides Khaled carries around that amount of jewelry. Bey & Jay Lately it seems like there's been an influx of industry relationships that have gone awry in recent weeks. I'm here to break down all the drama. You ready? Mary J. Blige & Kendu Issacs - Mary J. Blige shocked everyone when it was announced that she was divorcing her husband/manager of 13 years. It's been pretty hush hush as to the extent of the divorce but Issacs was questioned about the divorce on social media. He kept his response light and very professional citing that he simply tried to love Mary and care for her etc. This certainly isn't the end that we will hear of this divorce. Kelly is waiting on Frank So in the wee hours of this morning Frank Ocean dropped a visual album titled, "Endless" exclusively to Apple Music. The visual featured Frank in a workshop and played songs including Aaliyah's cover of "At Your Best(You Are Love)". Evidently this was not many people's first time hearing this song since it was released back in January but I don't even remember. Anyway it was definitely a highlight for me as far as the other songs. I didn't listen or watch the visual album all the way through. By this time it was like 3 a.m. and I figure I'd go to bed. Sorry for the lack of updates people but let's get right into it. I read a few days ago that Lil' Kim was supposed to be apart of DC Gay Pride show. The show was to include Foxy Brown and Remy Ma but all on separate nights. Immediately Kim came out and denied that she was apart of the fracas. Days later the promoters released documents sent to Kim's people where she was all set to perform and received her $12,000 fee. Once Kim found out that Foxy Brown was set to perform as well, Kim backed out. She returned the money and wanted to forget all about the show so that's why she initially denied she had anything to do with it. The promoters assured Kim that Foxy would perform the day after she did but Kim wasn't buying it and opted out. I haven't seen or heard a word from Foxy regarding this matter; she blocked me on IG. Kanye West is not only making headlines for his music but also his tweets. The rapper claims he's $53 million dollars in debut and has called on Facebook's own Mark Zuckerberg(sp) to help bail him out. I don't really know what to say about this but I guess this goes to show no matter how much money you got, you still struggling just like everyone else in some capacity. Now I wouldn't think so in the capacity of money but then again I don't know these stars bank account. In other music news..whatever transpired a few months ago between Cassie and Diddy seem to be resolved. Cassie recently starting following Diddy on Instagram again which means the lovebirds are back on after a public fallout with allegations of cheating. Cassie has been busy overseas and making movies. Lil' Wayne's mansion was raided and his possessions seized after failing to pay $2 million dollars to a private jet leasing company. Remember when Diddy choked his son's coach out and got arrested? Well it turns out that he won't face charges for his assault. Who saw this one coming? Seriously I thought he was going to get in some trouble for that. Well it looks like Rick Ross will be spending a little more time in jail. He was just denied bail after he was arrested for aggravated assault and kidnapping. Speaking of arrested, Diddy and the Bad Boy Family including Lil' Kim, Faith Evans, 112, Mase, and more will reunite at the BET Awards airing this Sunday. Chris Brown who is also expected to perform numerous times Sunday night is releasing a new album in the Fall. The untitled project comes hot on the heels of his recently released "X" album. You decide.    Rick Ross - Rick Ross was arrested twice in less than a month. First the rapper was arrested for marijuana possession. Now the rapper was just recently arrested for aggravated assault and kidnapping. I'm still wondering who Rick Ross kidnapped. I guess if I read the rest of the story I would know but I guess I don't care as much. And the aggravated assault was on one of his employees who he pistol whipped.    Diddy - Diddy is known to "throw bows" just ask Drake. He did the same at UCLA where his son's coach was yelling at his son and he didn't like it so he went down there and gave him a piece of his mind. Hey y'all! The news just keeps on coming as I've learned that Drake and Diddy have kissed and made up. Remember when Diddy punched Drake? Well the two have come to an agreement to work together in some sort of capacity. What capacity? I don't even care but maybe they'll do a song together. Who knows? Diddy was beefing with Drake over the song "0 to 100". The producer must of gave Diddy the same song and Diddy sat on it for awhile and when Drake released his version of the song and it blew up, Diddy felt some kind of way. MUSIC BITS: French Montana affiliate and friend Chinx Drugz has passed away after being shot. R.I.P. Jay Z reunited with his Roc A Fella crew for one night! Beanie Sigel and Juelz Santana were just some of those in attendance and who graced the stage. Lil' Kim has announced that she will star in a new reality show documenting her return to music. In the preview clip released a few days ago, Kim says Diddy is back in her life, which alludes to the possibility of him helping her make a decent comeback. And Janet Jackson has announced on her birthday, yesterday that she is indeed returning with new music this year as well as a world tour. Happy Belated Birthday to Janet! And last but not least R.I.P to BB King who passed away a few days ago.

MUSIC BITS: BET held its annual "Black Girls Rock" show and it brought out such stars as Ciara, Tracee Ellis Ross("black-ish"), Faith Evans, Fantasia, Lalah Hatahway, Janelle Monae, and many more. The telecast will air in April on BET. The show recognizes black women in all industries who are are positive role models etc.  Destiny's Child reunited this weekend for the Stellar Awards. BIG SURPRISE: So the big news of the day is that Drake has a released a new album/mixtape titled If You're Reading This Its Too Late. The project which has debuted on iTunes features a Tyga diss on the song 6 PM and Tyga has already responded labeling Drake a "bitch". Now I've only heard a few songs from the new project but I don't have a huge interest in it so I'll likely be skipping it. However I do like Drake's How About Now song! THIS JUST IN: The new Drake project is said to debut atop of next week's chart with 500,000 copies. In other music news, Keyshia Cole says that Prince has influenced her to go independent for her next album. Prince even promised Keyshia a duet. How do you think that will sound? DIDDY BOP: So a little more news on the Drake and Diddy debacle. It's being reported that Drake allegedly stole Diddy's song which was 0 to 100 made famous by Drake. There was a video posted online of Diddy on stage awhile back making claim to this and playing the 0 to 100 claiming it was originally his. So I guess all this pent up frustration was finally released when Diddy came face to face with Drake. Drake was said to have taken an L resulting in him falling to his back and dislocating his shoulder. Drake took to his social media account to speak on how his name is popping and how people are stealing things he does and says. Like really? This whole fight between Diddy and Drake has to be one of the most random feuds in the industry in years. TELL ME NO LIES: Just as the Love & Hip Hop Hollywood reunion aired tonight on TV, stories about star Yung Berg's sexuality has come to surface. I reported a little on the story yesterday but now Ray J's manager who knows the teenage boy Yung Berg is accused of sleeping with ex-boyfriend has come forward insinuating that the teenager is gay. Are you all following me? Anyway this all went down on social media complete with revealing text messages and the like. Its all too messy if you ask me. Either way if Yung Berg is gay or not I could care less. I don't think he's attractive and the only reason why anyone would like him in my opinion is because he has some wealth or at least he did. Shortly after the LHHH reunion aired, there was the story that Yung Berg's credit card had been declined and he beat his girlfriend because of it. Ray J's former assistant and Teairra Mari got on the radio to expose Ray. Morgan claims Ray J hit her in front of her child. Nick Cannon and Amber Rose were partying it up with Nelly for some festivities. Beyoncé penned an emotional letter to new mom Kelly Rowland congratulating her on the birth of her baby boy, Titan. But made no time to speak of the rumors of her being high at the basketball game. Then again Beyoncé doesn't respond to rumors anyway. Though she may address them in a remix song down the line.
