Let me be the first to say that there is a lot of news for a Saturday. Typically there is not much news to report on the weekends but you will see that's not the case this weekend. MUSIC BITS: Lil' Wayne is suing Baby for $8 million dollars! Wayne claims that Baby was to give me $8 million dollars as an advance for his delayed album The Carter V. Wayne through a couple of shots at his label honcho and former friend on his Sorry 4 The Wait mixtape. Kanye West appeared at The BET Honors tonight which is was being prerecorded to air later next month. While on stage, someone managed to capture video of Kanye throwing shots at some of his wife's ex-boyfriends saying his wife dated some "broke black men". The audience erupted into laughter. I'm not sure if that comment will make it onto the telecast but we will have to wait and see. We know that some of our most famous rappers have big mouths. Not only do they brag about how money they bank but they also like to brag on their dicks. They like to entertain us with scandalous tales of sex with groupies but also famous women. When pushed to the limit, these men will speak out and break whatever code the rapper and said female may of had in the past. It's usually something, in my opinion that offsets the rapper causing them to run their mouth like a leaky faucet but it always makes for good gossip and stories like these. DIVORCE COURT: The Beyoncé & Jay Z divorce rumors continue to linger on. Reports are now saying that Jay Z has been having an affair with singer Mya. If you recall the two collaborated the hit song Best Of Me Remix . There was some talk then that the pair had been romantically involved but then both were single. The report also goes on to say that Jay Z has been taking care of Mya for the last few years. What do you think? Is there some truth to the Jay Z cheating rumors or nah? I say this because these rumors have legs, like its a story that is not going away. Of course this all comes on the heels of Beyoncé & Jay Z's On The Run tour. Any news is good news. Ashanti has revealed that her next single off Braveheart will be Early In The Morning featuring French Montana. Since Braveheart 's release last month, EITM has been Ashanti's top selling song off that album. Upon its release, the song peaked at #9 on the iTunes charts. Speaking of iTunes, Mya, a name you probably haven't heard in awhile is releasing a new EP titled Sweet XVI (16). The EP is currently available for pre-order on iTunes and it will be available on April 21.

Last night I came across footage of rapper The Game fighting nemesis rapper 40 Glocc. Below you can see the shocking video and more videos of Game fighting. Over the years The Game has proved to be one of Raps more controversial and outspoken rappers. He has literally fought with several other rappers, fans, and random people on the street. One thing is for sure don't mess with The Game. Below is a few videos I compiled of Game involved in some pretty infamous fights and feuds over the last few years. After the videos you get more of a synopsis of some of his well known feuds. Some of The Game's famous feuds: 50 Cent The Game's long running feud with 50 Cent is now industry legend. Mya scored one of her more popular hits with this #2 Pop peaking single from her platinum album; "Fear Of Flying" released back in 2000. It's crazy that its been this long. Mya recently released her Japan released album; "K.I.S.S."(Keeping It Simple & Sexy) on iTunes awhile back. After Mya's "Liberation" album got shelved; Mya's career fell off here in the states. Though she is pretty popular overseas so I guess there may be plans to reintroduce herself to the American audiences.

Jay-Z jumped on the remix to Mya's hit song; "Best Of Me" which originally features Jadakiss. Shortly after this song's release; people rumored that the two had a fling. Possibly so since Mya has always had a reputation for getting it in with a host of rappers and beyond. I remember at one point there was a rumored tell all book to be released by Mya but somebody wasn't having it! Mya hasn't really had much musical output here in the states for quite awhile. However overseas has been treated to a few Mya albums; most notably; "K.I.S.S."(Keeping It Simple & Sweet) which is now getting an US release. The album will be released to iTunes and Amazon MP3 on December 20. Today you can download the new single from the album; "Earthquake" featuring Trina. If given a proper chance, Mya's video and single for debut single; "Lock U Down" featuring Lil' Wayne probably would of been a hit. It definitely sounds like one. The album; "Liberation" where this song is from never saw the light of day; it was shelved. The album was eventually leaked out online. It may of been released overseas though. I'm not sure though. I'm not exactly why it was shelved but it seems like everytime Sylvia Rhone is in the driver's seat of an album release; it gets shelved.

Mya released "My Love Is Like Wo" as the first video and single from her 2003 album; "Mood Ring". The song was produced by Missy Elliott who can hear on background vocals. I'm not sure what Mya has been up to lately but a few months ago she did release an album overseas. I take it she's done release music here. She kind of fell off after her "Liberation" album was never released here in the States.

You all are probably wondering how random it is of me to be talking about Mya. After all we haven't heard much from her musically in awhile. She does however have an album coming out overseas next month called; "K.I.S.S."; I believe. I was online looking up some info to report when I came across a picture of Mya and Terrance J of BET's "106 & Park". The two simply took a picture together at a recent party they both attended. Nowadays that's all it takes is for two celebrities to have a picture together and rumors starts. Especially when the picture is with someone who has a reputation(in my opinion) for being promiscuous. I know every once in awhile I hear Mya being linked to some guy. I mean that happens to any celebrity but its always been noted that she got around in the industry. At one point; it was rumored that she was writing a tell all but she quickly denied the claims. She did hint at writing some type of book though but I'm not sure if ...

I was looking earlier at all the album spotlight features done over the last four years; quite a bit. I have to seat and wonder did I cover this album yet or not? Anyway last night I was listening to Mya's first album which was released in 1998. It contains the first single, "It's All About Me" featuring Sisqo. The song samples Art Of Noises' "Moments In Love" which was a big hit as well. The song was an instant favorite of mine when I first heard it. My friend and I were in junior high and we'd always get excited when this song came on. "Movin' On" featuring Silkk The Shocker was the album's second single followed by "My First Night With You" written by Diane Warren & Babyface. The song was also recorded by Deborah Cox two years earlier. A lot of the material here is rather mature but Mya pulls it off very convincingly. Some of my favorite songs here are "If You Were Mine", "Don't Be Afraid", ...

"Fear Of Flying" was Mya's second album and much more broader musically than her 1998 self-titled debut. The album's first single; "Best Of Me" featured Jadakiss and was a typical song we'd come to expect from Mya. For the album's second single; "Case Of The Ex"; Mya scored one of her biggest Pop hits going all the way to #2. There were more guest artists on the album this time including Left Eye; Wyclef Jean; and more. Rodney Jerkins; Swizz Beats; and Robin Thicke led a hand in the songwriting and production. It was definitely a step up from the first album even though it housed a lot of big name producers as well. The songs on "Fear Of Flying" are more clever such as "Lie Detector" and more revealing such as "For The First Time"; which is a personal favorite. Mya would earn another platinum album with "Fear Of Flying".

Mya's "Fallen" is actually one of my favorite videos. I love the storyline behind it because it fits the song perfectly. Mya is really convincing as a woman infatuated with a man. This is familiar for Mya. In her video for "Ridin'" Mya played a similar role; this time hunting down a cheating lover. I'm not sure what Mya is exactly up to these days since her stint on "Dancing With The Stars" ended with her coming in second place. I believe she is working on a new album. It is kinda unfortunate how Mya's music career took a huge nosedive. Fortunately she can rebound again.
