So there was a report I read that Rihanna was allegedly upset at Jay Z and Tidal for her recent album rollout of "Anti". Even though the album is now a hit, it was revealed the album only sold 460 copies its in first week. Tidal blamed a system error for the album leaking out two days prior to its release which resulted in free downloads of the album. In the coming weeks, Rihanna's album sales have benefited from her hit single, "Work" and her name alone. The album is approaching gold status so I think she'll be okay in the long run. Hey guys! I hope you all enjoyed your holiday festivities. I know I did! I had plenty of food, laughs, drinks, gossip, and fireworks! So every once in awhile we get an artist who goes on social media particularly Twitter and airs some things out. That was the case last night with K. Michelle. She took to Twitter in the wee hours of the morning to express her disdain on everything from black media to still healing from her abuse. She goes on to say how she fought with women on TV for two years who didn't believe her story and how blacks don't support one another and are always tearing each other down. Very true! Sony, the label that Beyonce records for is threatening to yank their entire roster of music from the service if TIDAL doesn't pay up for the rights of the songs.
