In 1999 Tracie Spencer returned after several years out of the spotlight with It's All About You(Not About Me). The song appeared on her 1999 album Tracie. What Tracie is up to these days, no one knows but I wouldn't mind her coming back to bless us with new music.

Tracie Spencer released her comeback single and video for; "It's All About You(Not About Me)" in 1999. The release was the first single from her album simply titled; "Tracie" which was released through Capitol Records. It was Tracie's first album in eight years from the famed singer who got her start on Star Search in the late 80s. Her high profile stint on the famed show led to a deal with Capitol Records. She even had a guest starring role on the classic sitcom; "Family Matters". Tracie was one dating one half of the production duo; Soulshock & Karlin(who did production work on "Tracie" but also for artists like Monica and Mary J. Blige). I'm not sure what Tracie Spencer is up to these days. I do know she does occasional background work for some artists. It would be nice if she did bring out another album. Tracie's a very good singer. In recent years we've seen many acts who were popular in the 80s release new music. Why...

I decided to really take it back for today's Throwback Video. I remember my Mother had this cassette and she played it out and I end up liking it myself so here is the video; enjoy! I have no idea what Tracie Spencer is up to these days but like many singers of the late 80s and early 90s; she is due for a comeback. I mean why not? I still remember when my mother bought this album. I also remember sitting in front of our stereo and listening to this album and reading the accompanying lyrics. I'm not sure how many of you remember Tracie Spencer. She got her start in the late 80s and had a brief hit streak in the early 90s. "Make The Difference" was Tracie's second album and it was released in 1991. The album housed many hits including, "This House", "Love Me", "Save Your Love", and "This Time Make It Funky".
