Trina is back with a new song "Lean On Me" and it features T-Pain & Young Cash. Trina revealed the song late last night(Friday) and has since been sharing the song via her social media streams. The song samples the Bill Withers classic of the same name. I do remember seeing Trina tweet about this song awhile back and with T-Pain on it, honestly it sounds dated. It's not a song I really cared to hear again after my first listen but then again maybe it deserves a second listen. How you all take a listen and let me know what you think? Trina is said to release her sixth album later this year.

Chal is serving the TEA! Hey y'all! T-Pain is speaking out against some unnamed rappers who won't work with Frank Ocean! First of all I don't think Frank Ocean is hurting in the money dept. He gets called on to appear on songs from Jay Z and Kanye, two of the biggest rappers in the world. Who needs these other rappers when he has Jay and Kanye calling him. I'm just saying. But anyway, I was supposed to save my rant for the end. So what do you all think? Do you think Hip Hop is and will always be homophobic or will they give in eventually?

Download I think is the last big hit for Lil' Kim. Many thought the rapper was returning with a new album with the release of Download . The song was simply being released so Kim could get out of a nasty contract she was in and things haven't been right since.

Bow Wow must be just putting out singles and videos in the hopes that one of his songs may catch on. So far nothing has caught on and I personally haven't liked anything I heard from Bow in awhile.  Bow Wow's upcoming album Underrated ; his first for Cash Money/Young Money currently has no release date that I'm aware of. The album has been pushed back more times than I can count. Maybe he needs to do what everyone else is doing and just put out an EP for now then concentrate on that album. I'm just saying!

Anthony Hamilton is releasing a new album on December 13. The untitled album features the new single; "Woo" produced by Babyface. Anthony Hamilton will go head to head with Monica who is also releasing her new album; "New Life" on the same day. T-Pain will finally release his long delayed album; "Revolver" on December 6. The album features the new hit single; "5 O' Clock" featuring Wiz Khalifa and Lily Allen. The album also contains the Chris Brown assisted single; "Best Love Song". I remember T-Pain explaining that this album would be held up for unspecified reasons. He did say why I just can't remember. Anyway I think he was just waiting until he had a huge hit to release it and "5 O' Clock" is that big hit he wanted.

Andre 3000 It was recently revealed that Andre 3000 wouldn't appear in the video for Beyonce's "Party". It's her current single that's tearing up the R&B/Hip Hop charts. T-Pain Lil' Kim scored a hit single with her T-Pain collaboration; "Download". When it came time to film the video; T-Pain was unable to attend the video after a freak accident involving a golf cart. T-Pain releases his latest video and single from his upcoming album; "rEVOLVEr". I'm not sure when the album will be released. When I find out I will inform you all. The video also features comedian Kevin Hart who is the host of this years BET Awards airing Sunday. Make sure you check out that out! While the nominee list may be crappy and questionable; BET usually delivers in terms of the award show itself.

After numerous pushbacks; Game is finally ready to release his oft-delayed album; "The R.E.D. Album". With that said the guest list has also been revealed which includes Trey Songz; Chris Brown; Wiz Khalifa; Dr. Dre; Pharrell; Snoop Dogg; and Drake. Sounds pretty star studded right? I just hope the music is just as good. T-Pain claims he won't be using auto-tune anymore; something that he is responsible for making popular. He claims that his new sound is "The T-Pain Effect" which we can all guess is something not too different from what he was doing. I'm sure there is no problem with him simply singing but we'll hear soon I imagine. Lauryn Hill is pregnant! This will be her sixth child! All those expecting or waiting for an album will have to wait even longer. Then again I don't see her releasing any album anytime soon anyway. I think people should just get used to her doing spot dates here and there for the time being. Congrats to Lauryn!

With Nelly's "Just A Dream" being a huge hit, he is keeping the momentum going with his new video and single, "Move That Body". The song is just okay to me and the video is average. Akon & T-Pain are still at the top of the list of collaborators I see and this definitely isn't their best collaborative effort. Well that is the word going around. Apparently the two stars along with Erykah Badu couldn't get along. The opening acts; Erykah and Jill were going over their minutes in set and Maxwell wasn't having it. He was the headlining act of course. My sister was just telling me a story about how a friend of hers saw Maxwell in concert. She said that her friend told her he was acting strange. He was sweating profusely and his shirt was soak and wet. Listening to this made me think of the "E! True Hollywood Story" on Whitney and Bobby. I remember them saying the same things about Bobby! Makes you wonder! I just read that Kelly Rowland has named her new album after herself; making it a self-titled album. The album is slated to be released on September 14. Not many artists let alone rappers can conjure up such controversy or even debate like Jay-Z. Jay-Z's latest tune, "D.O.A."(Death Of Auto-tune) has been making quite a bit of noise online and it serves as the proper buzz single for Jay-Z's long awaited, "Blueprint 3" album. While I have heard the song but not in full, I have heard mentions of the song at work and on TV shows such as "106 & Park". Apparently the song disses and takes aims at rappers(artists) who uses the auto-tune popularized by T-Pain. Kanye West, who surprisingly produced the song is also guilty of the auto-tune use for his "808s & Heartbreak" album. Diddy is said to use the device for his new album, "Last Train To Paris" and is apparently upset by the song. My main reason for this posting is how this one song has the industry and everyone in such an uproar. Leave it up to Jay-Z to have other artists switching it up and challenging themselves musically....
