Lil' Wayne New Album Details Revealed?

One of the most anticipated albums of the year is probably Lil' Wayne's "The Carter IV". Read below for some of the album details and the tentative tracklisting.

Today, we’ve spoken to one of our exclusive sources who has contacts inside of Universal Motown Group which distributes content for Cash Money Records and Young Money Entertainment. As you may or may have not known, weeks ago Lil Wayne has announced that he has completed his album and has been sent off to his label for preparation ahead of the May 16 album release where he could beat his highly popular sales of 1,005,000 for Tha Carter III as his album is extremely hyped up across the world.

We are very close with the source however they are still new to us, so we are not entirely sure whether the tracklist is accurate and for this reason we advise you do not rely too much on this information until we have confirmed it with another source.

Our source tells us, “Lil Wayne’s label have been working hard on choosing the songs which will make the album as Wayne has produced over 50 tracks which need to be put down to between 16-20. The tracklist has a high likelihood of being changed but some or most of the tracks will probably still be there.”

From what we’ve seen, the track names and collaborations do make sense as Wayne has released “6 Foot 7 Foot” and “If I Die Today” which are confirmed to be on the album with people such as Birdman, Drake, Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj, Game, Bon Iver, Eminem and even Wiz Khalifa has made it on to the album (Wayne did do a “Black and Yellow” remix for the recent superbowl) but other than Wiz & Bon Iver, the features are kind of expected which is kind of disappointing – but then again, Wayne isn’t one to surprise. The tracks seem related to his last year from his prison, release and Young Money success from Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday to Drake’s Thank Me Later. Tracks such as “Lustful”, “If I Die Today”, “No Trust”, “Bigger Than Life” and “Hard Talk” seem to be talking about his problems or concerns that have been created from prison and “Team Player”, “They Love Me”, “Maybe She Will” and “Too Sour” talks about his team and enemies and “6 Foot 7 Foot”, “Fore Play”, “Fast Lane”, “Bigger Than Life” and “Another Day” are just some other tracks which talk about other things.

The album tracklist is as follows as we have received it:

UPDATE: We’ve received word by our other source a slightly different tracklist who are claimed to be close with Universal Distribution, the firm owned by Universal that’s responsible for the final production of Wayne’s Carter IV. They said that these tracks are existant, and Wayne has made more tracks than the album will have so they may claim those songs may be released in a deluxe edition, mixtape or future album which Wayne will decide with his label.
