Keri Hilson Unveils New Single Cover!

I was just talking to my friend last night about Ms. Keri Baby aka Keri Hilson. He was asking what happened to "Breaking Point" and he didn't know there was a video for the song. I don't think most people know but I did post the video a few days ago.

I haven't heard the new single, "Pretty Girl Rock" yet but I believe it is her first official single from her album, "No Boys Allowed" in stores and online November 30.

I'm just waiting to hear her explanation on the title. I actually think "Breaking Point" is a wonderful title but what do I know.

Whitney Houston Joins Keep A Child Alive Event!
Whitney Houston, Jennifer Hudson, Beyonce and more came to the aid of Alicia Keys at her 7th Annual Keep A Child Alive Black Ball in New York City Thursday.

An annual event dedicated to raising awareness and funds for children in need, the event also played host to Usher, Jay-Z, Swizz Beatz, Clive Davis and Janelle Monae.

Houston, making her first public appearance in some time, at least off stage, was photographed (pictured) enjoying the evening with Keys, who is expecting her first child, and Jennifer Hudson.

As previously reported, Keys and hubby, Swizz Beatz, produced Houston's hit single "Million Dollar Bill" on her comeback disc "I Look To You".

In related news, a film follow-up to 'Waiting To Exhale,' in which Houston appeared as Savannah in 1995, could be heading to theaters in the near future (more on that story here). A literary to follow up to 'Waiting To Exhale,' titled 'Getting To Happy' is in stores now, also penned by Terry McMillan.

Rocko Leaves Def Jam!
Atlanta, Georgia rapper Rocko Da Don has finally negotiated his release from Def Jam after his relationship with the label soured.

According to Rocko, he's been released from his contract and is focusing on building up his own new label, A1 Recordings.

“Things haven't been the same over there since Shakir [Stewart] passed," Rocko explained to AllHipHop.com. "I've been trying to get off the label for almost a year and we finally got all of the negotiations done and severed our ties."

The rapper recently teamed with The Evil Empire to release a brand new mixtape titled Rocko Dinero, as he negotiates a new deal for A1 and himself, as a recording artist.

"I've received numerous calls from different labels. Even though I'm not ready to talk I'm very eager to listen to anyone who wants to do business with me," Rocko stated."

Rocko, who has two children with ex-fiance R&B singer Monica, is best known for the hit single "Umma Do Me."
