Music Feed: Who's The New American Idol Judges?

No one knows but it has been a big mystery. So many names have been tossed into the fold. Some names seem like hopefuls while others sound as ludicrous as Ellen Degeneres being a judge. The following celebrities below have all been mentioned or considered to be a judge on the upcoming season of "American Idol".

Steven Tyler
The Aerosmith rocker is just one of the many names that has been attached to filling Simon's coveted spot on "American Idol". While no deal is firmly in place, talks of Steven joining the show have run rampant.

Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lopez was very close to inking a deal with the "American Idol" producers but FOX recently nixed those plans. Apparently Jennifer Lopez and her demands became way too outrageous. Hello! This is Jennifer Lopez you're talking about. Her demands have always been outrageous.

Mariah Carey
Right after Jennifer Lopez got nixed, Nick Cannon revealed how her former arch nemesis Mariah Carey would like to do the show. What makes FOX think that Mariah's demands wouldn't be just as outrageous as Jennifer's if not more?

Bret Michaels
Bret Michaels was just one of the many names mentioned as a possible replacement for Simon.

Elton John
The outspoken rocker has been mentioned as a possible replacement for Simon.

Howard Stern
Shock radio jock Howard Stern was even considered to be a judge.

Jessica Simpson
I wouldn't mind seeing someone like Jessica Simpson being a judge on "American Idol". I mean she is a good singer. She also has the kook factor down and would come pretty close to what we'd come to expect from Paula Abdul.
