Artist Spotlight: Eminem

Eminem's new album; "Recovery" debuts at #1 this week with sales of over 741K units! It is the highest first week sales this year. It also tops the first week sales of last years; "Relapse".

Where Eminem feels he might of fallen off(with "Relapse"); he has definitely rebounded rather fast. Obviously Eminem has a lot to celebrate right now and with good reason.

Eminem is one of the few artists to gather a lot of anticipation when he releases a new album. It is that winning formula that has been instilled in Eminem. It is responsible for six straight albums to all debut at #1.

Recently Eminem topped the charts with his single; "Not Afraid" and now his new single; "Love The Way You Lie" featuring Rihanna debuted at #2 this week.

Eminem obviously shows no signs of slowing down and continues to thrive when others have fallen off.
