Album Spotlight: Carl Thomas - Emotional

Carl Thomas released his debut album; "Emotional" in early 2000. The album contained the lead single; "I Wish"; one of my personal favorites. The song told a wonderful story and it was better exemplified in the video.

The single; "Summer Rain" was issued as the album's second single followed by the title track which featured Stacy Dash in the video.

The album featured the typical slow jams you would expect from an artist of Carl's caliber; smooth and seductive. The album featured songwriting and production by Kelly Price, Heavy D, Mike City(one of my favorites), and Diddy of course.

Carl Thomas would release two more albums after this but none did as well as this one.

I kept wondering what it was about this post, that made it so successful; one word: JANET! The fact that Janet has new music on the way makes this post even more of a hot topic. As its been said before, no one sings about sex quite like Janet Jackson. Her songs, ooze with the right amount of sexuality perfect for a night of steamy sex.
