Eminem Talks Collaborations With Pink, Rihanna!

A day or two ago I posted the new album cover and tracklisting for Eminem's upcoming; "Recover" album in stores June 22. Here, the rapper speaks about his collaborative efforts with the likes of Pink and Rihanna. The collaborations definitely come as a huge surprise to most people myself included. Rapper Eminem has revealed Pink and Rihanna were the only female singers who could ”pull off” certain tracks on his new album.

Eminem felt Pink and Rihanna were the perfect addition to his new album.

The ‘Just Lose It’ rapper – who famously collaborated with Dido in the 2000 hit ‘Stan’ – reveals the female singers were the only people who could “pull off” his tracks.

He said: “When I did the song that I did with Pink I laid my parts first and kind of heard her on the record. I felt like she would smash this record, so I gave her a call and she was with it, so we did it.

“The other that I did with Rihanna is one of those tracks that I felt only she could pull it off.”

The hip-hop star – who has parodied the likes of Madonna, Britney Spears and Mariah Carey throughout his career – explained his new album ‘Recovery’ will make sense once fans hear it.

He told Skyrock FM: “Both of the records, I guess you just got to hear them to know what they are.”

Eminem went on to praise relative newcomer to the hip-hop world Lil Wayne, who he collaborated with on the ‘Drop the World’ track and Drake’s ‘Forever’ single.

He said: “I’ve always respected what Wayne does. Wayne to me is one of the greatest in the game right now.”

It is kind of funny how this article refers to Lil' Wayne as a new rapper. Lil' Wayne is hardly a new rapper but maybe new to more mainstream success; maybe that's what they were inferring.

Nick Cannon Speaks On Mariah Carey's Pregnancy Rumors!

Though wife Mariah Carey sparked speculation that she might be pregnant after pulling out of an upcoming film, Nick Cannon says the public shouldn't jump to any conclusions – yet.

"If & when my wife is ready to make ANY announcements about private matters she will do it personally," he Tweeted on Wednesday. "Thanks for being respectful. God Bless."

Cannon, 29, who revealed last week that one member of their family is indeed pregnant – Jack Russell terrier, Cha Cha – adds that he now sympathizes with other women who are watched closely in the spotlight.

"My heart goes out to any woman who has to deal with public scrutiny and speculation pertaining to their private life REAL TALK!," he said on Twitter.

While the couple have remained tight-lipped on rumors that Carey, 40, is expecting their first child, Canon has been vocal about starting a family with his wife of two years. "We're going to do it," he said in March 2009. And in keeping with his promise on Twitter, "When we do it we're going to let you all know," he said.

For the last few years or so there have been rumors about Mariah Carey being pregnant. It seems as if each time has proved to be a false alarm. We are still not sure about this one; since she and Nick are pretty mum. Surely if she is though it is a baby boom going on in the recording industry. Alicia Keys recently announced that she is pregnant and Celine Dion is pregnant with twins.

Drake Plans TV Appearances!

If you haven’t had a chance to catch Drake on the road, you’ll soon be able to see him up close on your TV screen.

The Young Money star has booked appearances on a number of high-profile shows this month surrounding the release of his debut album Thank Me Later, out June 15.

During the week of his release, Drizzy will chat with Terrence and Rocsi on BET’s “106 & Park.” He’ll then fly across the country to Los Angeles to perform on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on June 23 and “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” the following day.

And it doesn’t end there. The “Fireworks” will really ignite when he sets the BET Awards stage ablaze with a performance on June 27.
