Lloyd Banks Arrested For Assault!

So when we haven't heard from an artist in awhile it is safe to assume their vacationing, living it up or just working on a new album. Well for Lloyd Banks it seems that he is assaulting and robbing people. Times must really be tough. Read below for more info as well as news on Usher's robber and Game's album pushback!

G-Unit's Lloyd Banks' alleged arrest yesterday on assault charges has been confirmed by Canadian police authorities.

Reportedly still being held under police custody, details on what sparked the arrest have landed online.

G-Unit's Lloyd Banks is being held by police in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, on assault and robbery charges after an incident involving a local promoter on Friday night. Authorities say that Banks and three others assaulted the promoter after the G-Unit member performed at Club NV in nearby Blandford late Friday night. Sergeant Brad Finucan of the Waterloo Regional Police's Criminal Investigations branch told MTV News on Sunday (January 10) that Banks (real name: Christopher Lloyd) and three associates got into a dispute with the promoter at a local hotel over payment for performance and an appearance fee. The promoter's name was withheld by police. The promoter alleged that early Saturday morning the lyricist and three associates -- Nicklas Sloane, Shawn McGee, and Tyrell Cooper -- held him in his hotel room against his will, assaulted and robbed him. All four men were charged with forceful confinement, aggravated assault and robbery. The four made a video court appearance on Sunday afternoon (January 10) and are due to appear in court again early this week. They remained in police custody at press time.
Usher Robbed!
Atlanta police said Monday that a million dollars in jewelry and electronics were stolen from singer Usher Raymond. The incident happened across the street from one of Atlanta's busiest shopping malls.

Raymond and a second man told Atlanta police that their vehicle was broken into on Dec. 14 when the pair stopped at an AT&T store near Lenox Mall.

According to the police report, the vehicle was described as a black GMC Yukon. Raymond said and there was over a million dollars worth of jewelry, $50,000 in furs and closing and about $20,000 stolen.

A witness said they saw a Chevy Impala with tinted windows drive up next to the SUV. The witness told police a man got out of the Impala and popped open the door to the SUV.

The incident is still under investigation.
The Game's Album Pushed Back!
West Coast rapper Game has announced that his forthcoming R.E.D. Album has been pushed back once again due to legal obligations.

Writing through his popular Twitter page, the rapper said his required community service has forced the change.

"BAD NEWS: This just in.. The R.E.D. Album just got pushed back again to MARCH 23RD !!! gotta finish my community service before I can travel," he wrote over the weekend. "The judge told my lawyer & my P.O. I can't travel or do any out of state promo until I finish my community service... aint that a b*tch ! Good news: I'll be done with my community service in just 200 more hours ha ha ha i wonder if spending 10 hours a day on twitter counts towards my "community service" Huh? then I'd be finished by Jan. 29th ha ha & I was "INNOCENT" anyway !!! I aint pull no gun out on nobody........ STOP SNITCHIN !!! #imtiredof cleanin up on the side of the freeway anyway !" (Game's Twitter)

In addition to guest features, details on the album's songs were released earlier this month.

Pharrell Williams isn't the only mixmaster contributing beats to "R.E.D." Cool and Dre, DJ Khalil and Dr. Dre all lend their production efforts, while Beanie Sigel, Rick Ross, Justin Timberlake and Robin Thicke make guest appearances. Songs on the album include "It Must Be Me," which finds Game bragging about the luxuries of his life over an "N.W.A. mixed with an eclectic beat"; "Pussy Fight," featuring Lil Wayne protege Nicki Minaj ("When you hear her on it, you'll understand why she was perfect for it"); and "Lost," which "describes the relationship between my father and I and my sister in depth like I've never done before."
