Rah Digga Plays The Alter Ego Role With 'Dirty Harriet'
Rah Digga first REALLY caught my attention for her single, 'Imperial'. In the video Rah Digga pranced around in her usual B-girl stance and pictures of Foxy Brown were in the background. Paying homage to Foxy in her video and on her debut was something that I liked.
On the album, Rah has a lot of punchlines and her delivery is sick. The way she says things and the way she says it makes this album a worthwhile listen. There are some entertaining moments in the form of some skits which I couldn't wait to share with an old friend of mine.
Rah Digga never truly got her chance to shine again after this album. Her second solo album on J Records never was released commercially. Eventually it leaked online and by that time I think a lot of interest was lost. I was hoping Rah would reignite her rap career but now she is focused on acting and beat making. Here's to hoping she might just return to rap!
