Don't Believe The Hype.........I Don't

Drake Plans Label Debut!
While there are as many as three major labels battling it out to sign Drake, the Toronto-born MC signed to Lil Wayne's Young Money label is close to signing a deal with Universal Motown, a source close to the negotiations confirms.Sources say three majors are in possibly "one of the biggest bidding wars ever" in hopes of signing Drake, including Universal Motown and Atlantic Records. The presence of Warner Music Group's CEO Lyor Cohen and COO Julie Greenwald at Drake's recent New York show further intensified the speculation that WMG was making a serious play.
I just don't get what the fuss is concerning Drake but whatever. It is glad to see that Lil' Wayne might actually release albums from Drake and Nicki Minaj, maybe because they actually have a buzz as opposed to artists like Currency, another Lil' Wayne signee.

Congratulating Omarion, Tyrese reportedly wrote "Congrats on Omarion signing his new deal with Young Money! this is gonna be a big year for you!! younng mula baby". Of course, Omarion had signed a deal with Timbaland's Mosley label last year -- no word on what happened there.Omarion released a track titled "Comfort" earlier this year. Ironically, "Comfort" features Lil Wayne...The "Touch" and "Entourage" singer joins Hip Hop recording star Drake at Young Money.
DMX Heads To Jail!
DMX might as well just admit that he prefers to be locked up than walk around as a free man. Anyone who continuously commits crimes every five seconds is looking to keep his prison cell ready for his return. You knew it was coming: 8 days after DMX was released from jail, he pled guilty to another crime — and he’s about to find out if he’ll have to make another triumphant return to Arizona’s Tent City Jail. DMX — who originally pled not guilty — copped a plea and pled guilty to attempted aggravated assault (a felony) back on May 22 — after an incident in which he verbally threatened guards at Tent City back in February.
