Kid Cudi is one of the hottest rappers on the scene right now and his single, "Day N Nite" has been riding high. I remember first hearing of Kid Cudi for his collaboration on Kanye Wests' "Welcome To Heartbraeak" off his "808s & Heartbreak" album.

Fake Drake Album Hits The Net!
Drake is such a hot artist that one of his albums is selling even though he didn't release it.An unauthorized album, "The Girls Love Drake," which features selections from the Toronto rapper's mixtape "So Far Gone" and other tracks, was released May 28th by a label called Canadian Money Entertainment and distributed by the Independent Online Distribution Alliance (IODA) on iTunes, Rhapsody and Amazon. Drake's camp, which is still trying to clear the samples on "So Far Gone" and his two other mixtapes in hopes of selling them in stores, says it didn't authorize the release.
A similar situation occurred with Ginuwine where an unauthorized album was being sold on Amazon. I forget what it was called but people actually thought it was Ginuwine but I don't think it was. Now that I think of it the last few years of Ginuwine had been tough. It is nice to see him coming back out strong.

Jagged Edge Talks New Album!
Slip-N-Slide Records, home to chart-topping artists like Rick Ross and Plies, has signed the R&B quartet Jagged Edge fresh off their departure from Def Jam Records. Now members Brian Casey, Brandon Casey, Kyle Norman and Richard Wingo are in the studio working on a new album entitled "The Remedy,' slated for a 2010 release, and they hope to tap on old and new labelmates, among others, for guest spots.
It's nice to see JE still hold on to the little luster they still have.
