BET Picks Up Wendy Williams Show!
BET has picked up cable rights to "The Wendy Williams Show," a forthcoming daily talk program featuring the New York-based disc jockey hosting celebrities, spreading gossip and discussing topical issues, reports Variety.The cable channel has yet to announce a timeslot for the show, which will run day and date with the syndication telecasts set to air in the daytime and early afternoon beginning July 13.
I watched Wendy Williams' show faithfully last summer so I am glad that it is returning. What's even better is that BET picked the show up which hopefully means they won't be showing movies all day.

50 Cent Settles Lawsuit!
Rapper 50 Cent has reached a settlement in his lawsuit against an engineering firm over repairs and renovations to the Connecticut estate he purchased from boxer Mike Tyson in 2003, a court official said Friday. Details of the settlement, confirmed by Linda Cohn, deputy chief clerk at Hartford Superior Court, were not made available to the public, according to the Associated Press.
