Ciara - Fantasy Rider
With her new album, "Fantasy Ride" on the horizon, Ciara appeared nude on VIBE magazine. The cover meant to display Ciara in a mature light was regarded negatively. Ciara then accused VIBE of photoshopping her pictures to make her appear nude. Ciara's debut single, "Go Girl" was released and several of her songs were leaked.

Beyonce - The Queen Bee
With her upcoming album on the horizon, Beyonce had fans in a frenzy. It was the increased momentum building up for the release of her new album and two first singles. There was a lot of speculation and rumors regarding the new album and singles.

Mariah Carey - Daring Diva
Firing manager Benny Medina became a popular thing to do within the last month or two. Usher got rid of him too. It was said that Medina's hooking back up with JLO caused the rift. Meanwhile Mariah and camp continuously changed single choices and whether or not to cut all promotion on her "E=MC2" album. Mariah also denied that she was pregnant!

Janet Jackson - The Chosen One
Janet embarked on her "Rock With U" tour to rave and negative reviews(mostly from haters still upset about the Superbowl). She announced that she had left Island Def Jam and talks began regarding Janet's next move.
