Janet Jackson has spoken out(again) concerning her relationship with label Def Jam after dismal sales of her latest album, "Discipline". While the album debuted at #1 in March 2008, the album has yet to go gold and has sold 413,000 copies to date. It has been reported that this will be the last album Janet records under Def Jam. Ever since Janet has been working with JD, her music and sales have gone downhill. I still enjoy her music but everything is always screwed up. I'm surprised JD has lashed out on Def Jam like he did Virgin.

Brandy appeared on BET's "106 & Park" yesterday and talked a little about her upcoming album, "Human" in stores November 11. Aside from producer Brian Kennedy and Rodney Jerkins, not much is known production wise. The second single will be called, "Long Distance". And John Legend will appear on Brandy's album as she will appear on his upcoming "Evolver" album due next month.

Kanye West is said to be releasing a new album this December. The first single is titled, "Love LockDown". I'm a little surprised by this then again everyone comes out during the holidays. In other Kanye West news, the rapper will appear on MTV's VMAs this Sunday. This comes after the rapper stated he wouldn't appear on the show again.
