Pretty Ricky Album Cover, Nina Sky, Britney

Check out the album cover for the brand new Pretty Ricky album, "80s Babies" due September 23. The album is preceded by first single, "Cuddle Up" featuring Butta Creme .The group just released a video for their remake of H-Town's "Knockin' Da Boots".

Music News:
Remember Nina Sky? They are responsible for the hit song, "Move Ya Body". Well the duo is returning with their long awaited album, "The Musical" due this October. First single, "Curtain Call" features Rick Ross. Collaborations include Stargate, Ne-Yo, Cool & Dre, Salaam Remi[worked with Nas], Kerry "Krucial" Brothers, and Scott Storch. It's been a minute since we've had a successful duo on the scene. Let's see if Nina Sky can recreate that spark they had.

Britney Spears is hard at work on her new album due early next year. The singer is working with producers Rodney Jerkins and Sean Garrett. Spears also is taking part in Madonna's "Sticky & Sweet" tour where she filmed a video for Madonna's "Human Nature" song. I'm really glad that Britney is getting herself together again. She has completely disappeared from the tabloids. Now everything you hear seems to indicate that she is moving in a positive direction.

Amerie is ensuring that her Def Jam debut makes her big a star as labelmate Rihanna. The singer has enlisted producers Pharrell Williams, No I.D.[produced for Toni Braxton], Bangladesh, Tricky Stewart, Bryan Michael Cox, and more for the upcoming set. I have always liked Amerie's albums. I know a lot of people want her to reunite with Rich Harrison and recreate her debut "All I Have" album. The chances of that happening are pretty slim right now.

Nas' controversial "Untitled" or self-titled[however you want to refer to it]album is projected to debut at #1 according to HitsDailyDouble. The album is said to sell close or over 200K. While this is certainly good, it doesn't compare to the opening first week of his last album, "Hip Hop Is Dead" which debuted with close to 400K units. The difference with "HHID" is it also debuted during the holiday season which always helps.
