Kanye Leads, Remy Speaks, Alicia Still #1

Daily Roundup: Kanye West leads the pack of Grammy nominations with 8 awards including "Album Of The Year" for "Graduation". Amy Winehouse is a close second with 6 nominations as her hit, "Rehab" is nominated for "Record Of The Year". Other nominees include Beyonce, Jay Z, Rihanna, T-Pain, and Timbaland. Look for the 50th Annual Grammy Awards this February.

Remy Ma finally made a few rounds on a few choice radio stations speaking about Lil' Kim's recent diss to her. Some of the things Remy said was that "Kim has more ghostwriters than Foxy!" Ouch! She went onto say if she were to appear on a track with Kim, she'd have to write the verse for her because Kim rhymes are trash. She is merely bothered by Kim's diss but instead challenged Kim to an actual fight to an extent. I feel like if you aren't really bothered by it why fight?

Madonna's new album will be called "Licorice". The album due in April will feature such song titles as "Candy Shop" and "The Beat Goes On" which leaked earlier this year. Kanye West is said to make a guest appearance on the album. After this final album for Warner Bros, Madonna will release a greatest hits package.

News Tidbits: Alicia Keys rules the #1 spots on the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot R&B/Hip-hop Tracks chart with "No One" for a 3rd week (Hot 100) and for a 8th week (R&B). Go Alicia!
