Do you all remember this video? I'm not even sure how long ago it was but 40 Glocc, seen in the red is being beat up by his nemesis The Game and now 40 wants a rematch. This time he wants it to be a paid event with the winner winning $100,000 dollars. 40 posted a scathing Instagram post insulting The Game and challenging him to this fight. At press time I'm not sure if Game has responded or not but in the meantime you can check out their previous fight which is quite funny.

MUSIC BITS: BET held its annual "Black Girls Rock" show and it brought out such stars as Ciara, Tracee Ellis Ross("black-ish"), Faith Evans, Fantasia, Lalah Hatahway, Janelle Monae, and many more. The telecast will air in April on BET. The show recognizes black women in all industries who are are positive role models etc.  Destiny's Child reunited this weekend for the Stellar Awards. LOVE HURTS: Ray J has had enough of the drama that is "Love & Hip Hop Hollywood" and has quit the show. Apparently the producers are scrambling to get him back as he is a central part of the cast. Ray says his relationship with the crazy  Princess Love has suffered since appearing on reality TV but I mean what did you expect? Most relationships and friendships fall apart on reality TV. So what do you all think about Ray J leaving? Do you think it was the right decision or do you think he will be back once up his pay? SISTER SISTER: Speaking of Ray J, his sister Brandy is taking a break from music and going on Broadway to play Roxie Hart in "Chicago". The singer announced the news via her Instagram. Brandy's role starts on April 28.

So Jamie Foxx says he's not dating Katie Holmes and that they are working on a project together. What project that is anyone's guess but my guess is their "project" is their budding romance. These rumors have run rampant for awhile and they died down then they were reignited when the two were pictured together in a studio. Do you think Jamie is producing Katie Holme's album? MUSIC BITS: Good news for Chris Brown! He is officially off of probation and let's hope he stays out of trouble. Speaking of trouble Suge Knight found out his fate in court today when it was revealed that his bail was set at $25 million dollars. Upon finding out the news, Suge Knight passed out! Everyone is saying that it was simply an act and I have to agree. If you recall Suge Knight was seen on surveillance camera running a man over not once but twice after a scuffle was taking place in the streets. TOUR DE FORCE: So if you all weren't aware Iggy Azalea was supposed to embark on her The Great Escape Tour but for unforeseen reasons it was cancelled(and later rescheduled). One of the show's opening acts, Tinashe, known for her hit "2 On" dropped out of Iggy's tour to join rival Nick Minaj's "Pink Print" tour. Ironically Iggy is featured on the remix to Tinashe's new single "All Hands on Deck". I guess Tinashe had to go where the money is at. The famed producer is alleging that Ciara's new hit song "I Bet" sounds awfully familiar to Usher's 2001 hit "U Got It Bad" produced by Jermaine Durpi. He went as far as to compare the ordeal to what's developed between the Marvin Gaye family and Pharrell and Robin Thicke. Me personally I don't hear the similarities but I guess. What do you all think? To expound on my thoughts, its only when a song becomes successful that people allege this kind of things. I just said a lot! Anyway a who's who of R&B and Hip Hop stars have already guested on the first season of the show. We can only imagine what the second season has in store for us. But it is being noted that Foxy Brown, Oprah, and Spike Lee are all said to guest star on next season of "Empire". The Boys, a quartet on the Motown Records label released the video to their single "Crazy". The song was released in 1990 and poked fun at other videos such as Madonna's "Vogue", Michael Jackson's "Thriller", and Bobby Brown's "Every Little Step". I'm not sure what happened to the group after this but I was six years at the time and the "Thriller" scene used to always scare me. Ha!

In 1987 The System released the video to their hit single "Don't Disturb This Groove" which became a late 80s staple and a classic R&B hit. I personally don't know much about The System but I know they had another hit with "You Are In My System" and they worked on Chaka Khan's "I Feel For You" album. So travel down memory lane to this 80s throwback!

"Freak Like Me" was the debut single from Michigan native Adina Howard. The song was released in 1995 and appeared on her Gold debut album "Do You Wanna Ride?". Nowadays Adina is a chef and she tours every now and then. Do you all remember this song? I definitely remember it because I was 11 at the time and my sister and our cousin was always in the car playing it. That was back when the cassette singles were popular.

I have to report some sad news today in the world of R&B. Singer Charmayne Maxwell formerly of group Brownstone(song: "If You Love Me") has died after a fall at a soccer game in Denmark. Maxwell is married to producer Soulshock, one half of the production duo Soulshock & Karlin. Prayers to the family. And speaking of family, on a brighter note, Ludacris and his wife have announced they are having a baby. Congrats to the couple.

"Rebel" is the newest single from Christina Milian. The song is currently available on iTunes and based on the snippet I heard, the song doesn't sound half bad. It actually sounds promising. I may want to check out Christina's upcoming album if and when it hits. But something sure to help this song gain momentum is a new feud that has arisen between Christina and Nicki Minaj. Christina was seen on her IG page with a shirt that says "Pretty On Fleek", a quote that was said by Nicki in her "Feeling Myself" track so Nicki made a comment saying she is responsible for the "on fleek" word craze that is going around. Trina is back with a new song "Lean On Me" and it features T-Pain & Young Cash. Trina revealed the song late last night(Friday) and has since been sharing the song via her social media streams. The song samples the Bill Withers classic of the same name. I do remember seeing Trina tweet about this song awhile back and with T-Pain on it, honestly it sounds dated. It's not a song I really cared to hear again after my first listen but then again maybe it deserves a second listen. How you all take a listen and let me know what you think?
