The currently untitled project, which will focus on hip-hop and street dance culture, will see contestants go up against one another in a variety of dance-offs, with Brown choosing the winner of each round. It was reported awhile ago that one of my favorite singers Faith Evans would release a memoir based on her life and relationship with the Notorious B.I.G. The book will be released on August 29. Faith has been pretty quiet on the music front. Her last album, 2005's "The First Lady" spawned the hit "Again". Faith usually takes huge breaks in between albums and more recently she had another child. If we don't get an album later this year from Faith, I would assume we'd get something at the top of next year. Hopefully!

MTV takes viewers behind the scenes of Danity Kane's "Bad Girl" video. In the steamy clip the ladies take on various characters showcasing their bad girl persona. Check it out! Now that I think of it "Bad Girl" is a good choice single for DK. It is very similar to PCD's "When I Grow Up" as far as the upbeat tempo of the song. I can also see this being a big hit for the group. Team DK!

Ms. Trina may have just released her most recent album, "Still Da Baddest" in April but she will release a new album in October. Meanwhile Trina has chosen "Look Back At Me" featuring Killer Mike as her 3rd single. Trina and Killer Mike will shoot the video on July 14. Like any other artist Trina's albums get pushed back a great deal and I won't be surprised if the new one does as well. I am glad that Trina is pushing forward with a new album. I can't wait! Beyonce is hard at work on her third album which is set to be released later this year. Nas finally unleashes the debut video for his "Untitled" album in stores July 15. Nas' "Untitled" album leaked recently and I'm not sure what the response has been so far. I think the video and single should of been out awhile back. I actually got tired of hearing about the whole "N*gger" title. It really started to irk me after awhile. I have heard the first four tracks on the album and they are not bad. I will have to listen to see how the rest of the album fares.

LL Cool J will release his 13th and final album[for Def Jam]titled, "Exit 13". The album is preceded by first single, "Baby" featuring The-Dream. The album sports collaborations from Lil Mo, Wyclef Jean, and 50 Cent. My cousin and I were just talking about LL. She is a big fan of his but she feels his time is up. What do you think? Usher is said to be upset with the record sales of his "Here I Stand" album. The album debuted at #1 and has since gone platinum. Usher must of been expecting another million plus sales week. I don't know why though. The album sucked miserably. I wasn't expecting much from it anyway. 50 Cent is aiming to do a million units with his next album, "Before I Self Destruct" due later this year. I think 50 Cent is trying to be in competition with Lil' Wayne. 50 acts like he hasn't pushed a million units in the first week before. I guess he wants to do it again and frankly there is nothing wrong with that.

Earlier this week[July 3]singer turned radio DJ Miss Jones exited her Hot 97[New York radio] post. She is set to star in her own reality show to air on BET in September. Like many reality shows before it, it will chronicle her life, on-air interviews, and more. I never been a big fan of MissJones. I always thought of her as a knockoff Wendy Williams.
