Slim's Love Crazy, Michelle Williams, Usher
Music News:
I'm really feeling the new song from former 112 member Slim titled, "So Fly" which features Yung Joc. The singer's new album, "Love's Crazy" due September 9 features a who's who list of hot collaborations including Faith Evans, Slim Thug, Shawty Lo, 8Ball & MJG, Gucci Mane, C-Murder, Polow Da Don, Sean Garrett, and UGK. I remember feeling like none of 112 would stand out alone but Slim's new single is climbing the R&B charts. I just read that a video for "So Fly" was recently shot.
Another one bites the dust. Michelle Williams' highly anticipated album, "Unexpected" has been pushed back to October 7. First single, "We Break The Dawn" recently went to #1 and features a remix with Flo-Rida. BET has come under fire for reportedly rejecting the video. This has become a major concern when BET's "106 & Park" has someone like Madonna but they can't play a Michelle Williams video. Just goes to show you that "times is hard".
Usher has chosen "His Mistakes" as his 3rd single off his "Here I Stand" album. I couldn't think of a better title to sum up the last few years of his career. He's definitely paying for those "mistakes" now.
