Janet Jackson and Madonna are the first performers added to the lineup of the star studded Video Music Awards to air on MTV in August[or September]. Voting has recently been open where fans can determine the nominees. You must have an user account to vote. Click here to get started.

Danity Kane will debut their new video, "Bad Girl" featuring Missy Elliott on MTV's "FN MTV" on July 25. The girls always take an eternity to release their 2nd video. They are definitely long overdue for one. In other news DK will be opening up for Janet's "Rock With U" tour. Go DK!

Last we heard about Bobby Valentino was that he dropped from Def Jam/DTP Records. Well the singer has signed with EMI[which oversees Capitol and Virgin Records]. Well good for him!
