I notice a lot of artists film videos for their intended first singles without giving these songs a chance to grow or get shipped to radio. Then once they fail, they are looked at as a "buzz single". I mean I guess you can't always wait for radio to start playing your songs especially nowadays. Someone like Bow Wow however will get radio play because he is a popular act.
