Ne-Yo's Bow, Brandy Departs, Usher, Ciara

Audio: Ne-Yo - Take A Bow(Cover)
As writer of Rihanna's current hit song, Ne-Yo puts a spin on this song extending and slightly changing some of the lyrics. Check it out!

I wonder if Ne-Yo wishes he kept certain songs to his self that he gives to other artists.

Music News:
Well it is really starting to look like Brandy will release a new album this year after all. It has been revealed that Brandy's first single, "Departed" is produced by longtime collaborator Rodney Jerkins. Brandy has had a lot of her songs leak lately and I won't be surprised if this one leaks soon. Brandy's untitled album is due this November. The album sports collaborations from The Neptunes, Kerry "Krucial" Brothers, The Underdogs, Bryan Michael Cox, and Midi Mafia[worked with Fantasia]just to name a few. Recently I spoke about Brandy's past relationship with Rodney Jerkins and how they fell out. I am happy that they are working together again. Let's just hope the music is good as it was back in the day. It should be. Brandy rarely disappoints musically!

The recent pushback for Michelle Williams' new album, "Unexpected" has prompted a new lead[or 2nd]single entitled, "The Greatest". The song was produced by Jim Jonsin[produced for Lil' Wayne]. Michelle's songs have been leaking left and right. "We Break The Dawn" went to #1 but it still underperformed on the main charts. I'm sure these are some of the reasons for the pushback.

Ciara is currently putting the finishing touches on new album, "Fantasy Ride" due this November. The album's first single is a toss up between "High Price" featuring Ludacris or "Work". Ciara has expressed disdain over the leaking of "High Price". I mean c'mon Ciara what do you expect? Your songs and everyone elses' is leaking left and right.

Usher has tossed "His Mistakes" for "What's Ur Name" for his album's 3rd single off his platinum, "Here I Stand" album. Usher's 2nd single "Moving Mountains" failed miserably at radio. Let's hope that this new song can keep Usher's album afloat......for his sake anyway. I didn't like "Here I Stand". It truly put me to sleep.
