ABORT MISSION: I'm back after a brief time away for the Holidays. I was going to blog over the break but I left my laptop at home. So anyway on the news, Nicki Minaj opens up on the cover story of Rolling Stone magazine. She says she had an abortion at an early age and the decision has haunted her ever since. It looks like she also took another shot at her nemesis Iggy Azalea by implying that certain artists brag about not writing their material. Then again I'm not sure if she were talking about Iggy but if I had to take a wild guess I'd say she was the intended target. Though I can't quite recall Iggy ever saying she didn't write her rhymes as its been suggested by Minaj. In other Nicki news a video of her performing an acting scene in school has leaked out and they say she was not happy about it. Why? I don't know. It is that time of the year where you all will start seeing every blogger post their year end list of favorite albums and the like. Since there isn't much news really worth reporting today, I figure I'll take some time to mention my favorite albums of 2014. There weren't many albums that I found all that amusing like most of you. I usually don't like most albums as a whole. I usually only like a handful of songs but these albums mentioned below struck a chord with me. I'll first start with Bravehear t by Ashanti. It was a long road to getting this album released but once she did, it debuted in Pop top 10 signifying Ashanti's staying power over the years. For such a long wait I felt the music on Braveheart was really good and Ashanti previewed a lot of the music beforehand so there was a lot to look forward to. My favorite song is Early In The Morning featuring French Montana. Oh when I first heard it, the song stayed on repeat. I even got my niece liking it....

I have been out of the loop for the last few days as my social life has started to pick up again just in time for the Holidays. Never fear though I am back with updates. FRENCH KISS: So it turns out that newly single Amber Rose has been mingling with everyone from Chris Brown to now French Montana. The famed socialite apparently posted a picture of herself alongside French and then quickly deleted it. We all know Amber has a thing for rappers and it won't be long before she is on the arm or the bed of another famed rapper. Mark my words! THING CALLED LOVE: And Nicki Minaj and her ex boyfriend Ms. Safaree, as I like to call him have been going back and forth on Twitter after rumors of Safaree having suicidal thoughts. Personally it was too much to keep up with nor was I interested in this or Nicki's new album. LOVE 4 SALE: Memphitz aka Mickey Wright, the ex-boyfriend of K. Michelle has been throwing shade at her via social media after her appearance on Wendy last week. Memphit...

MUSIC NEWS: J. Cole's new album 2014 Forest Hills Drive debuts at #1 with 371K copies making it the highest selling rap album this year. K. Michelle's new album Anybody Wanna Buy A Heart debuts with 87K copies making it her second #1 R&B album this year. Next week Nicki Minaj is said to debut with 165K copies of her The Pink Print album and D'Angelo's surprise album is likely to top 100K copies. With all this new music out, what are you guys listening to? Personally I'm not interested in any of the albums mentioned above but congratulations to all the artists. MUSIC BITS: Rihanna has been named creative director of Puma. Fabulous and his girlfriend Emily B. are expecting their second child. Jazmine Sullivan will release her new album Reality Show on January 13. And if that's not enough new music for you Ne-Yo will relese his new album Non-fiction on January 27. Nicki Minaj says she is not dating Meek Mill but the rumor mills say otherwise. What do you think? I did see a headline of Nicki saying she never had to sleep with any man in the industry. But that doesn't mean she's hasn't had offers to. Speaking of Nicki Minaj, Lil' Kim's baby daddy Mr. Papers was being messy on Instagram by posting a picture of Nicki Minaj clad in a bikini which is likely for her 2015 calendar. The posting of the picture was an obvious dis to his baby mother for obvious reasons. I wonder why he put up that other than body appreciation. Maybe Lil' Kim won't let him see his child? MUSIC BITS: Baby aka Birdman is finally speaking out against Lil' Wayne who wants to leave Cash Money. Well according to Baby it won't be that easy and he believes that a contract is a contract. Just when we thought this wasn't going to get ugly. It looks like it just might after all. I feel like if an artist is not happy where they are let them go. Why hold them in contempt? Congratulations are in order for Memphis Bleek, he just tied the knot and his old friend Jay Z was there by his side. Now I wonder if Beanie Sigel got married, would Jay Z attend that wedding? Probably not. 

FAN LOVE: J. Cole visited a fan's house who tweeted him to come over since she is one of his biggest fans. I remember when Trey Songz did that and it was recorded and the fan asked him how big he was? lol Anyway I can only imagine what happened when the cameras cut off. You know Trey Songz has the reputation to sleep with his adoring fans. I'm a fan of Trey Songz as well so I wonder does that mean he'll sleep with me too? I guess that's wishful thinking on my part but I do love his Trigga album. It was one of my favorite this year. Okay back to J. Cole his new album is expected to be #1 next week with 355K copies and I'm hearing nothing but good things about it. I figure I should check it out! Have you? 2ND CHANCE: Tinashe known for her hit 2 On is already at work on her sophomore album. Tinashe released her debut album Aquarius back in October. And why is she working on a new album so soon? My guess is because no one bought the first one. I'm not sure. What do you think? BLACK POWER: In much better news D' Angelo fans the wait may just be over as the reclusive singer is said to release a new album Black Messiah on December 15. A physical copy of the album has landed in stores in Brooklyn as have posters advertising the new album. D' Angelo's manager promised a new album this year and I'm guessing he was right on the money. Black Messiah is the first album from D' Angelo in 14 years. MUSIC BITS: Rihanna is not pregnant! Chris Brown and Karrueche are back together. COLE WORLD: So Keyshia Cole is going to jail for 30 days! This is straight from the horses mouth! Keyshia did say her sentencing is unrelated to her recent arrest. Instead her sentencing is from an incident that occurred 10 years ago. She didn't reveal what the nature of the arrest was but do you all care to guess? Something tells me it was something similar to what she got arrested for before. What do you think? THE GREAT ESCAPE : 2015 will find Iggy Azalea taking her act on the road for The Great Escape Tour. The rapper also hinted that the title may also be the name of a new body of work she plans to release in the near future. Nick Jonas will serve as her special guest on tour. DIDDY BOP: So a little more news on the Drake and Diddy debacle. It's being reported that Drake allegedly stole Diddy's song which was 0 to 100 made famous by Drake. There was a video posted online of Diddy on stage awhile back making claim to this and playing the 0 to 100 claiming it was originally his. So I guess all this pent up frustration was finally released when Diddy came face to face with Drake. Drake was said to have taken an L resulting in him falling to his back and dislocating his shoulder. Drake took to his social media account to speak on how his name is popping and how people are stealing things he does and says. Like really? This whole fight between Diddy and Drake has to be one of the most random feuds in the industry in years. FAIRY GODMOTHER: So Lil' Kim went ham on K. Michelle today after she appeared on The Breakfast Club. The two have been going back and forth after K. Michelle claims Lil' Kim told her that she wanted K. to be her unborn child's Godmother. Lil' Kim denied the claims saying no one knew she was pregnant at the time so how could that be? Lil' Kim posted a huge response to K. Michelle calling her everything from a pill popper to bi-polar. It was very funny to be honest. K. PHOTO FINISH: Some girl has come forward saying that K. Michelle stole her photo concept and used for her new album Anybody Wanna Buy A Heart which was released today! If you've seen the cover art work for K.'s new album you see K. completely naked adorned with roses or nothing at all. The woman in question showed off her own photos that she took awhile back allegedly and claims that K took her idea and was on social media asking people what she should do? I mean if you feel the woman stole your ideas then you should take legal action idiot! It's funny though how this came out right when K is releasing her album. The cover art and the promo photos have been around for awhile. I'm guessing the accuser is just now seeing the photos or what. TELL ME NO LIES: Just as the Love & Hip Hop Hollywood reunion aired tonight on TV, stories about star Yung Berg's sexuality has come to surface. I reported a little on the story yesterday but now Ray J's manager who knows the teenage boy Yung Berg is accused of sleeping with ex-boyfriend has come forward insinuating that the teenager is gay. Are you all following me? Anyway this all went down on social media complete with revealing text messages and the like. Its all too messy if you ask me. Either way if Yung Berg is gay or not I could care less. I don't think he's attractive and the only reason why anyone would like him in my opinion is because he has some wealth or at least he did. WAYNE'S WORLD: Lil' Wayne says he will be out of his contract with Cash Money soon! Earlier in the week the rapper announced he wanted off the label that made him a star. Lil' Wayne's disdain with Cash Money stems from the label not releasing his new album The Carter V. CHRIST(R)AN: And Chris Brown is single again. He and his girlfriend Karrueche Tran have broken up. Chris Brown announced on his tour that he was single again and "fuck that bitch!" referring to Tran. Something tells me this is not the end of the couple though. What do you think? GRAMMY PARTY: The big news story today is the Grammy nominations which were revealed earlier this morning. I can't really say there are any surprise nominations. I mean everyone you'd expect to be nominated for a Grammy was. Everyone you expected to not be nominated wasn't. Get my drift? Multiple nominees include Usher, Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, Beyoncé, Iggy Azalea, and more. If you want the full list of the Grammy nominations you'd have to look that shit up! SHOT UP: The other big news story today is that Beanie Sigel was shot in the torso early this morning. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he had to undergo surgery. There is no word on his current condition but hopefully he will be fine. STAR BRIGHT: And speaking of fine Pharrell Williams has received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. CASHED OUT: So the big story of the day is Lil' Wayne calling out Cash Money! The golden boy of Cash Money has called out the label for not releasing his new album The Carter V . He goes on to say that he wants off the label and he is a prisoner. This news comes on the heels of other Cash Money artists, Tyga and Lil' Twist airing their frustrations with the label. It really makes you wonder what's really going on in the Cash Money camp? INDEPENDENT GRIND: And speaking of Tyga he revealed that his long awaited album The Gold Album will be released independently next year. So does that mean Tyga finally got released from Cash Money? I guess we will have to wait and see. 

R.I.P.: Sad news. Kelly Rowland's mother has passed away as did Todd Tucker's mother Sharon Tucker of The Real Housewives of Atlanta fame. R.I.P. to both women and may their families be blessed at this trying time. LUMP OF COLE: J. Cole has taken part in the protest in NYC over the verdict that resulted in the killing of Eric Garner.
