Any news is good news.  Greetings! Before I even get into the news I have, I'll refer to this post as the Diva Edition. I touch on several R&B Divas and what's going down with them all. Now R&B Divas Atlanta is back on and popping. The first episode featured a fiery exchange between stars Monifah and KeKe Crazy Wyatt. As we can see there is plenty of drama on the show but there is also drama brewing behind the scenes. Star, Syleena Johnson is speaking out against former star and creator Faith Evans. Late last year the R&B Divas compilation album was nominated for Best R&B Album. But instead of the R&B Divas cast being nominated, Faith Evans was the only one recognized for the nomination. The controversy will be explored on the new season of R&B Divas Atlanta . Any news is good news. It was earlier this month that Kandi and her fiancé Todd Tucker finally tied the knot after two years together. We saw much of the discord between the two and their families through RHOA( Real Housewives of Atlanta ). It had been rumored that Kandi's wedding was being televised for Bravo which was later confirmed by the singer and her camp. Now a premiere date has been set for the nuptials, Sunday June 1 at 8 P.M. EST. So with that being said I guess its safe to say RHONJ( Real Housewives of New Jersey ) won't be airing anytime soon. Will you be tuning in to see Kandi's wedding? Any news is good news. So...I was just scrolling through one of the music forums I frequent and I learned that Faith Evans is in the studio with Keyshia Cole. The two singers previously collaborated before on Keyshia's  Calling All Hearts album. What the two have in store for us this time we will have to wait and hear? Faith is the one who revealed the news via her Instagram. By the way Faith Evans is looking really good and svelte these days. Looks like she lost more weight after leaving R&B Divas Atlanta . Faith, herself is supposed to be releasing her new album sometime this year. You all ready to hear a new song between these two R&B Divas?  

Any news is good news.  Someone who won't go down without a fight is Pebbles. Just when we thought we heard the end from the 80s R&B star, Pebbles has struck back and sued Viacom for $40 million dollars. Viacom is the company that brings us such music channel luminaries as VH1(which CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story aired), BET, and MTV. Now I'm watching Wendy as this was being reported and I agree with what Wendy said. Pebbles won't get $40 million dollars but she surely will get something. Any news is good news.  So the rumors are true. THIS JUST IN: Beyoncé and Jay Z have confirmed they are INDEED going on tour together. Titled On The Run(also the name of the current single between Jay Z and Beyoncé) the tour will start in Miami, Florida and trek through L.A, Cincinnati, and other cities. Actually this was news yesterday but I'm just now able to report it since I was out last night. This was one of the worst kept secrets out there. Somebody let the cat out of the bag a few weeks ago and ever since then people have been going crazy! Well now they can fully rejoice and catch the husband and wife team on tour this Summer. Janet's longtime collaborator Jimmy Jam tweeted that we will receive some new Janet news. What could it be though? A new album? A new single? I guess we will all have to wait and see. The difference here is that Mariah will announce the title, release date, and everything else. The new album will first appear on digital retailers(iTunes?) before being released physically the following week. Formerly titled The Art of Letting Go , the new album houses appearances from Jermaine Dupri, Jim Wright(worked with Janet), Rodney Jerkins, Hit-Boy, Mike Will Made It(worked with Wiz Khalifa), R. Kelly, and a special guest Mariah can't name. Mariah appears on the newest issue of Billboard magazine(I will try and post the cover once I find a suitable link). In 1987 George Michael released his #1 Pop hit Father Figure . I remember this song pretty well from seeing it on VH1 and MTV back in the day. I've always been intrigued by the song's video more than anything. I truly never paid attention to the lyrics but I'm tempted to look them up and understand the real meaning of the song.

There is definitely no denying Beyonce's influence on American culture particularly in music. Kudos to Bee! In other Beyoncé news it was announced yesterday that Beyonce will release Pretty Hurts as the new single from her self-titled album. Boo!

Well it turns out that she is and its being revealed that its Pretty Hurts , the album's lead track. Now this is the last song I would of expected to be released as a single. I wonder whose bright idea that was. If it were up to me to choose Beyonce's next single it would be Jealous . But what do I know? What I do know is that Chris Brown will be in the slammer a little while longer than planned. The singer will be locked up until June. Chris is currently facing up to four years in prison. Ouch! I hope with all this jail time Chris will finally clean up his act once and for all. What do you all think?

Any news is good news. As we've learned in recent months Beyonce moves in silence. The singer has been spotted filming a top secret video. No one knows what the video is for. It is being speculated that the screen caps that has appeared online is from her upcoming tour with husband Jay Z. I guess we will know in due time. Something else we may know in due time or not is the release date for the new untitled Mariah Carey album.The album was recently scheduled to be released on May 6. Now the listing of the album on Island Def Jam's release schedule has disappeared. The move has prompted the Lambs, Mariah's fans to attack Jermaine Dupri. Why Jermaine Dupri? I'll start things off with Future who has his own record Honest coming out soon. It was mentioned awhile back that Future did a demo to Beyonce's Drunk In Love song. The song, Good Morning leaked out but will not be publicly released has caused many questions wondering how much of a role did Future play in Beyonce's latest hit. There's been the insinuation that Beyonce stole the song from Futue but when asked, Future said no such thing happened. We all know Beyonce has a history of not being the most original artist and it has in turn caused her a little controversy over the years. If I'm not mistaken Comfort Inn Ending(Freestyle) is the third single and video from Jhene' Aiko's EP release Sail Out . The singer's full length released Souled Out is due on Island Def Jam Records later this year.

First up, Keyshia Cole will premiere her new video Next Time on 106 & Park on Wednesday. Next Time joins Rick James as one of two singles Keyshia recently released. Any news is good news. Good morning! I was just watching Brandy on VH1's  Big Morning Buzz where she talked about her role on The Game among things. She also revealed that she is indeed working on a new album. She describes this album as "personal" as most Brandy albums tends to be. How long before we hear new music? Who knows. Brandy generally takes a while to record her albums but the wait for it is always worth it. In other Brandy news..its been revealed that Brandy and her fiance Ryan Press have indeed broken up. Though, this has been news for quite some time, it was never truly confirmed from Brandy's camp. Going back to Brandy's album, we can expect her new album to be about her relationship of course.

If you all are unfamiliar with producer Rico Love, he is a producer who has worked with the likes of Ashanti and Usher. He has a hit single on radio right now titled They Don't Know and his new single is titled (Bitches) Be Like . Well apparently there has been a beef brewing between singer/producer Rico Love and Wale for awhile. I just never took time to publicly write about it as I didn't think it was that big to begin with. Well apparently things just took a turn for the worse. Wale's assistant Miss Rici went on Twitter and dragged Rico Love calling him 'down low'. It all started because singer Tiara Thomas, who was featured on Wale's Bad song jumped ship and signed to Rico Love's label, Division 1. Ashanti threw down last night as she performed the National Anthem at the Bradley vs. Pacquioa fight when went down last night. Ashanti previously announced this engagement weeks ago and had been seen canoodling around with Pacquioa who won the fight last night.

Rick James is the first single and video from Keyshia Cole's upcoming album Point Of No Return due this Summer on Interscope Records. Keyshia said a while back that this will be her last album on the Interscope label. Keyshia has been signed to Interscope since her debut The Way It Is which was released in 2005.

Make It Hot was the debut video and release from Nicole. The song was written and produced by Missy & Timbaland.

Apparently The Game has been axed in favor of Ray J who is currently shooting scenes with girlfriend, Teairra Mari. As for The Game, the rapper has been in a battle with rapper 40 Glocc and his ex-girlfriend Tiffeny on Twitter and throughout. The Game was also arrested last week for some dumbness. However there seems to be a new season of Marrying The Game in production which seems pretty pointless to me. The Game ain't selling many records these days so a check is a check so I get it. Speaking of reality shows, fans of Tamar & Vince can rejoice because this Fall, the show will embark on its third season. Any news is good news. So last we heard, Kelly Rowland left her label, Universal Republic. Now the singer is in the beginning stages of recording a new album. So far Kelly has enlisted Pharrell and hopes to tie in Timbaland as well. Kelly also hopes to work with some new producers as well. So what do you think? You guys think Kelly will really bring it this time? I guess we shall see. One thing you will see is yet another season of The Game which Brandy stars in. The will mark the shows 8th season which typically airs in early January or late March, depending. There were rumors that Derwin and Melanie were coming back but Pooch Hall(Derwin) says BET put a dent in that..for whatever reason. Well it looks like award season is not quite over yet. Any news is good news.  Greetings! Apparently Cassie is fed up with the antics and badmouthing of blogger Sandra Rose. The petite singer took to Instagram to air out the famed blogger known for causing chaos among celebs. I don't personally visit Sanda Roses' blog but whatever she said about Cassie was nasty enough for Cassie to dignify her with a response. Well its finally being revealed that the formerly cancelled VH1 show Single Ladies has found a new home. BET sister network, Centric has picked up Single Ladies for a fourth season. This comes on the heels of the recent rumors that Single Ladies was heading to BET. Well turns out the rumor was true, sort of. Another rumor that had been flying around was regarding a spin off show for Kandi capturing her wedding. Well Kandi revealed the news today that her wedding show is a go and the release date will be announced soon.

Any news is good news. Ashanti has revealed that her next single off Braveheart will be Early In The Morning featuring French Montana. Since Braveheart 's release last month, EITM has been Ashanti's top selling song off that album. Upon its release, the song peaked at #9 on the iTunes charts. Speaking of iTunes, Mya, a name you probably haven't heard in awhile is releasing a new EP titled Sweet XVI (16). The EP is currently available for pre-order on iTunes and it will be available on April 21.

The couple's nupitals are said to be televised on Bravo in a show reportedly titled Bridal Kandi but it has been unconfirmed at presstime. Speaking of unconfirmed..Ciara is due to pop anyday now according to many sources. The singer who is 9 months pregnant showed up to a kids event looking ready to pop. Future, Ciara's baby daddy revealed that Ciara and he are having a baby boy.

The singer is reigniting her controversial comments regarding Beyonce's pregnancy. If you recall, Tamar came and said she thinks Beyonce wasn't pregnant. While we all have our own thoughts, I'm surprised we're even still talking about this or the fact that I'm even commenting on it. Then again blame it on a slow news day.

Anyway...BET is possibly looking to add  and fuck up another cancelled show to their network, VH1's recently cancelled Single Ladies . The show which stars LisaRaye McCoy and most recently LeToya Luckett. The show recently finished its third season which was pretty high in ratings but for whatever reason VH1 decided to move in another direction. The show is executive produced by Queen Latifah. Interestingly enough BET is now airing The Queen Latifah Show so this rumor just may be a go. Let's just hope BET does this show some justice because they have totally transformed The Game into a boring drama. I'll start things off by sharing my thoughts about the #PoorMichelle topics on Twitter. I guess I didn't pay it much mind because Michelle has always been the punching bag of Destiny's Child. I, myself doesn't have anything personally against her except I think she is a little awkward but who isn't these days. Apparently the #PoorMichelle topic got to Michelle and she responded back in a ladylike fashion instead of bowing to the ignorance that was displayed. Nice job Michelle! In 1988 Paula Abdul released the video to her #1 Pop hit Straight Up which features a cameo from her rumored lover at the time, Arsenio Hall. For some reason in this clip, he is blurred out. Straight Up also went to #2 on the R&B charts. Straight Up was most famously sampled by J. Cole on his 2011 hit, Work Out .

Blige will appear on a song together with Michael. The untitled track was produced by D'Angelo and it can be heard on Xscape due May 13. Xscape is now available for pre-order on iTunes. Speaking of iTunes, it was just this past December when Beyonce' surprise-released her self-titled album to fans. Now Beyonce is getting a surprise of her own. The singer is being named in a lawsuit by two fans who attended her concert in Chicago. According to the fans, they were trampled on by a mob of fans upon entry to the concert. Excuse me ladies but Beyonce' is not the one you should be suing. If anything you all should be suing United Center. Any news is good news.  Greetings everyone! If your a fan of NBC's The Voice , it looks like Pharrell will be added as a new judge for season 7 of the hit series. What I can't believe is that The Voice is already on season 7. I swear it was just yesterday that the show started but then again maybe their seasons are short. I watched the very first season of The Voice and I haven't watched it since. The first season aired during the Summer so I had more time to watch TV. Typically when the show airs now I'm at work and I can't watch the show.
