I didn't bother watching the MTV Video Music Awards last night but then again I don't have cable. If I did I probably would of watched but if you have Internet; Twitter, Facebook, you don't have to watch the telecast and can still be aware of what occurred last night. Well one of the big stories was Nicki Minaj calling out host, Miley Cyrus out last night. Nicki took the stage to accept an award for her video, "Anaconda". If you recall a few months ago Nicki spoke out about why her "Feeling Myself" video wasn't nominated which prompted Taylor Swift to intervene and made for a nasty but brief Twitter feud with Swift. After Swift and Nicki made up, Miley Cyrus, I guess was talking bad about Nicki in the press and Nicki didn't forget it. When Nicki accepted her award, she thanked her pastor before lunging a full on attack on Miley Cyrus calling her a "bitch". Many say they feel the battle was just for TV sake but who knows. There are some new albums on the horizon to look forward to, first up is The Game. He will be releasing "The Documentary 2" on September 25. Tinashe, known for her hit "2 On" is looking to drop a new album in November. And last but certainly not least, Janet Jackson is said to release her album this Fall. The album's title has been revealed as "Unbreakable". Oddly enough her brother, the late Michael Jackson, had a song titled "Unbreakable" on his 2001 album, "Invincible". Janet's new album is still shrouded in a lot of mystery but we do know some of the song titles, "Plush", "Night", and "The Great Forever", which Janet previewed a while back. Are we looking forward to any of these new albums?

Nicki Minaj will be opening this year's "Video Music Awards", hosted by Miley Cyrus. What do you think Nicki will perform? And it looks like Willie Taylor from Day 26 will be joining "Love & Hip Hop Hollywood" which will premiere on September 7. Speaking of "Love & Hip Hop Hollywood", Soulja Boy says he is about to be a father. And it looks like Drake and Serena Williams is back on after briefly dating awhile back. Chris Brown says his new album will be titled, "Royalty", after his daughter. The album's first single, "Liquor" recently got the video treatment and should be airing any day now. Are you looking forward to Chris' new album and what do you we think about him naming it after his daughter? Do you think it will show a softer side of Chris? I guess we shall wait and hear. :) In this week's "Who Knew?" news..Kelis performed at this year's Afro Punk show and she revealed that she was pregnant. And by the looks of the picture in rotation, she looks like she's pretty far along. Of course now everyone is wondering who is the baby fatha? Nas? Ha! Ciara has responded to all the criticism she's received by everyone for allowing her child with Future to be around new boyfriend, Russell Wilson. Ciara says it's a bit of a contradiction(if that's the word) on Future's part. Because she says she was around his other kids and took care of them. She also went on to say she tried to get Future to talk to Russell prior to the blowup via the media but he refused. Ciara has caught a lot of flack for this but the show must go on. Meanwhile Ebro, radio host on Hot 97 has come to Future's defense basically saying Ciara is a "media whore"(my words not his). It's funny because I do remember someone tweeting(I think it was Tyrese) about a certain celebrity who hires photographers to capture their every moment and put it up on the blogs. Looks like "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" are adding a transgender to the cast. And its been a pretty mixed reaction about this. A lot of people balk at the title "Housewives" because many of the women featured on nowadays aren't married and never have been. I think we ought to stop taking the title of this show so serious and realize that overtime the show has changed its format a lot and upped the ante for ratings sake and its worked. I will be watching "RHOA" this season as I do every season and I'm very excited about it. I have noticed that they (Bravo) have been going out of their way to fill Nene's shows. Sheree Whitfield and Marlo Hampton are back in the mix. Even executive producer Carlos King is back! Kim Fields is on and so is the transgender. Who else? Only time will tell! I am little late on news as I'm not updating as regularly as I used to and I apologize for that. I was however just reading how Erica Dixon of "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" has a restraining order on her baby daddy, Lil' Scrappy who also stars on the show. I guess there was some domestic situation that appeared on camera where he tried to attack Erica. Have we seen that? I don't recall. I believe there are only like two more episodes left this season but I'm sure tired of the ongoing drama between Erica and Scrappy. It's very stale and old. Rihanna has signed on to be the key advisor(What?) on season 9 of "The Voice". Hey! I didn't even realize "The Voice" has been on for 9 seasons. They still have yet to produce a star but they can book a huge star for the show. Your thoughts? And Lil' Kim and her baby daddy have buried the hatchet. Hey y'all! Sorry for the lack of updates. But over the weekend it was revealed that Sheree Whitfield and Marlo Hampton are returning to "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" and Kim Fields is out! Also Carlos King, executive producer is back now that Nene is back. Looks like Bravo is pulling out all the stops now that Nene is gone. Are you looking forward to Sheree and Marlo being back on "RHOA". I am! Bring the drama. And while I was away I see people were in an uproar thinking Nicki Minaj was pregnant when she referred to her boyfriend, Meek Mill as her "baby fatha", which she really just meant as a term of endearment, not literally. Azealia Banks has announced that she won't release any new music until March 2016! Why? Because the current contract that she's locked in won't let her release music until her contract is fulfilled in February 2016. The outspoken rapper was planning to release a mixtape next month as well as an EP but it looks like we will have to wait for a few months. But I know it will be worth the wait. On another note I guess as artists they need to read the fine print in those contracts. Same thing happened to Lil' Kim many years ago. Not a single music note was heard from Lil' Kim for years because she couldn't release music because of a faulty contract. It looks "Empire" will have more guest stars than a little bit this season. These rappers stay in trouble! The Game has been sued by one of the contestants on his upcoming show, "She's Got Game". The contestant claims that Game sexually assaulted her. She's suing for 10 million. Game doesn't have to sexually assault a woman in my opinion. Most women want him anyway and will do just about whatever to get on TV to get with him. Sounds like this girl is mad she didn't get picked and now she wants some of that money. Bye thot! :) Sorry not buying it! Busta Rhymes got arrested for throwing a protein shake at a gym employee. As big and swollen as Busta is I'm surprised he didn't pick up a barbell and throw it! I'm not sure why Busta went into a fit of anger. Maybe someone was on one of his machines. It was only a matter of time before Azealia Banks butted heads with K. Michelle. The two outspoken musicians had it out on Twitter a few days ago with most of the insults coming from Azealia of course. It all started after K. cancelled her tour with Azealia. Well apparently Azealia was feeling some type of way about it or some fan asked her about it and she didn't hold back. It was a matter of time before K. caught wind of the bad mouthing and K. pretty much dismissed the drama. Good for you K. It has been a rough week for Bobby Brown and his family. Just yesterday he laid his baby girl, Bobbi Kristina to rest at her funeral. Some of the family members reportedly came to blows due to the mysterious circumstances of Bobbi Kristina's death. Bobby's sister, Leolah Brown was kicked out of the funeral and spoke to some of the blogs. She accused Nick Gordon and Pat Houston of having something to do with Bobbi Kristina's death. :( At the end of the day hopefully this family can and will find peace but I'm thinking this whole thing is about money. If that's not enough drama for you, Bobby's wife was rushed to the hospital this morning after suffering a seizure. Prayers go up to Bobby Brown and his family. On a much lighter note, Fetty Wap has been accused of skipping out on his bill at Olive Garden. Future reportedly took some shots at Ciara and Russell Wilson on Twitter.
