Foxy Brown Speaks Out On Jay-Z Rumors, Wale Confirms Guests On New Album
Foxy Brown breaks her silence! The reclusive and always controversial rapper has been pretty quiet for the past few years. She is now speaking out against a story that was published a few weeks ago. In the said story Foxy allegedly attended a baby shower and bad mouthed Jay-Z. Allegedly she said that Jay-Z gave her a sexually transmitted disease, took her virginity, and was "gay" among other things. Foxy denies the entire story and is threatening to sue MediaTakeOut who was responsible for the story.
I read about the story a few weeks ago and I thought it was pretty far fetched and I wondered where such a story even came from. Foxy can be pretty quiet but one thing for sure is whenever there is a vicious rumor about her she will come out whatever rock she's been hiding under and address it!
Oh how I miss Foxy Brown and when she did music. Female rap is just not the same without her.
Wale has revealed some of the guests that will appear on his new album The Gifted in stores June 25. They are as follows: Rihanna, Juicy J, Nicki Minaj, and Wiz Khalifa.
While we are on the subject of Rap...French Montana who released his debut album Excuse My French is said to sell around 45-50K units in his first week of release. His debut album is responsible for the hit singles Freaks and Pop That.
Now we all know that those numbers are pretty low but they are standard and looked at as decent nowadays(depending on the artist). I think sometimes the constant pushbacks of albums kill the momentum some of the albums might of had. Labels or artists like to release tons of singles before we even get an album. One the reasons why that is the norm now because the music industry is more single driven. Albums aren't selling all that much so this is what we have to deal with as of now.
And they say Mrs. Janet Jackson...if ya "Nasty" is now a billionaire as if she wasn't one already being married to one. The singer known for her worldwide fame is making news because she is now officially a billionaire. When you add up the number of records, singles, and albums Janet has done not to mention all the movie she's starred in; you have a Billionaire. Go Janet!
I reported a few days ago that Janet was back in the studio working on new music. Why not add more to the billions you already have?
