Music Feed: Six Degrees Of The Game
I remember Game announcing his retirement only to be lured back into the game in typical rapper fashion. The rapper is currently working on his fourth album due to be released sometime soon. I figured I'd switch it up a little this time and profile someone other than a R&B singer. We all know The Game! He is perhaps best known for his beef with 50 Cent. Quite a way to be known right? Well check out the list of people who Game is often associated with. And you guessed it 50 Cent will be mentioned a few more times.
50 Cent
Game's arch nemesis! These two have traded (rap) bars over the years. Currently the beef is in hibernation but it is often awaken. 50 Cent is currently grilling Rick Ross right now so Game is probably the least of his worries.
Dr. Dre
You couldn't listen to Game's first album, "The Documentary" or countless interviews without hearing the rapper mention his mentor. The two had a little falling out which I'm a little unclear about whether or not its been resolved. Its truly to many beefs in rap that's for sure.
Nas
Nas is a frequent collaborator of The Game's. He is also a huge influence to the rapper. Who but Nas?
Mya
Game mentioned the sexy songstress in his hit single, "Dreams". It was a fantasy that soon became a reality. The two were soon linked up personally and romantically. Well the little whirlwind romance or hook up was short lived. Before you know the two were dissing each other in the press.
NWA
The influential L.A. based group was instrumental in Game's success as a rapper. You couldn't listen to Game album or song without hearing a murmur of NWA.
G-Unit
The Game's beef with 50 Cent was not just reduced to him but also his G-Unit comrades; Young Buck and Tony Yayo. It was an all out battle that eventually got somewhat resolved(with 50 Cent briefly and Young Buck) but soon became reignited due to huge egos.
So there you have it! Six degrees of The Game. Interesting huh? Keep reading! There will be more to come soon.
