Another week, another record-breaking jump to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Britney Spears makes a near-maximum 96-1 rise with "Womanizer," returning to the top of the list for the first time since her debut single "...Baby One More Time" hit No. 1 in January 1999.

T.I. Still #1!

Despite a 69% drop-off in sales, T.I. starts a second week at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 with "Paper Trail." The Grand Hustle/Atlantic set sold 177,000 copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan, after debuting last week with 568,000.

Janet's Back.....Again!

Janet Jackson is returning to her "Rock Witchu" tour and -- finally -- revealing the mystery illness that led her to cancel a string of concerts.Following two weeks of scrapped shows, Jackson was scheduled to resume her tour tonight (Oct. 15) at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C., after a bout of migraine-associated vertigo. She is being treated for the illness, which is characterized by dizziness, imbalance and other symptoms.

Madonna Divorces!

Madonna's spokeswoman says the singer and her husband, filmmaker Guy Ritchie, will divorce after seven-and-a-half years together.Madonna and Ritchie married in December 2000 at a Scottish castle. The couple have two children: Rocco, 8, and David Banda, 3, who was adopted from Malawi in 2006. Madonna also has a 12-year-old daughter, Lourdes, from her relationship with personal trainer Carlos Leon.

Kat DeLuna Splits!

Pop singer Kat DeLuna, best known for her 2007 hit single "Whine Up" featuring Elephant Man, has split with Epic Records, according to reps for the artist.DeLuna, who won Latin Dance Club Play track of the year at this year's Billboard Latin Music Awards for "Whine Up," is working on her sophomore album with sought-after producers like Akon, Jim Jonsin, Red One and J. Bynum, among others.
