Just a few days ago Brandy was subliminally dissing someone on social media and many thought it was rumored boo, gospel singer; Sir The Baptist. Well low and behold, Brandy and her companion were seen together via her social media page and all is well. As a matter fact in a video Brandy posted, she was all smiles as she belted out a song(I can't remember what song it is now). Now I STILL really don't understand the extent of their relationship and perhaps its not for me to understand. I do wish Brandy the best in love, life, and her
new baby. :) Remy Ma was one of the many featured performers who took part this year's annual Essence Music Festival which takes place in New Orleans, Louisiana. If you are unfamiliar with the Essence Music Festival, its an annual celebration that celebrates black women. Workshops, concerts, conferences, meet and greets, and the like some of the things that take place during this Festival. The Festival is not just for women. Men attend each year to see their favorite artists perform among other things. I've personally never been but maybe one day I will be fortunate enough to go. Okay but back to Remy Ma...there was a video shown of Remy Ma speaking to a crowd of concert goers about her obstacles being jailed and of course there was in my opinion some shade thrown at Nicki Minaj for good measure. Elsewhere legendary singer, Diana Ross took the stage as did Mary J. Blige(showing off her toned body) who took a few swipes at her ex-husband. Jazmine Sullivan also performed. R&B group Xscape, Ashanti, Brandy, Monica, Chaka Khan, and plenty of your favorite TV reality stars(Cynthia Bailey, Kenya Moore, and Phaedra Parks of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" fame) were all spotted this weekend as the festivities continue.
