J-Lo New Album Tanks..Danity Kane Without a Label Deal

J-LO BLOW: The estimated sales figures for J-Lo's new album A.K.A. are in and they aren't looking too good. Then again I don't think people were expecting much. Sales are estimated to be around 30K units in the album's first week. That's pretty low even for J-Lo. J-Lo has been making the rounds pretty heavy this week so maybe that will help. However she doesn't have a hit single at radio right now and they is what is ultimately hurting her in my opinion. Will J-Lo rebound? More than likely. We all know to never count La Lopez out. RAISING KANE: Many fans were happy with the return of Danity Kane, sans the change in the group's lineup. The former quintet is now a trio. Dawn, Shannon, and Aubrey revealed that even though their new single Lemonade featuring Tyga is a hit on iTunes, they don't currently have a recording contract. If that's the case the girls might as well be independent. They released Lemonade independently so why not continue in that direction.

  • Pitbull will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
  • Mariah Carey will release You Don't Know What To Do featuring Wale as her next single which impacts radio on June 30.
  • Sisterhood of Hip Hop featuring Diamond(Crime Mob) and Brianna Perry will premiere on Oxygen on August 12. The show is produced by T.I.
