Chris Brown Honored At BET Awards, 'The Real' Talk Show Returns

Any news is better than no news.
CHRIS BROWN HONORED: Chris Brown just got out of a jail and he will now reportedly be hitting the BET stage just in time for the awards airing June 29. Word is that Chris is being honored for his contribution to music. Say what? Speaking of the BET Awards its been announced that Drake, Lil' Wayne, Usher, Jennifer Hudson will be performing for the festivities. THE REAL: Daytime TV talk show The Real which is hosted by Tamar Braxton among others will return on September 15. The show which premiered last year(I believe) had a test run which did well enough to warrant a second season of the show. Congrats! Will you all be watching or nah? BELIEVE: Keyshia Cole is said to release a new single next week titled Believer. The outspoken singer previewed the song via her Instagram account. Believer is the follow up to previous singles Rick James and Next Time. Keyshia's new album Point of No Return is due this Summer and is her last album under the Interscope label. ELUSIVE, INDEED: Mariah Carey's new album, Me. I Am Mariah...The Elusive Chanteuse arrived to little fanfare. Estimated sales for Mariah's new album are around 56,000 copies. Ouch! That's not good at all. Being that the album is only available on iTunes may of played a part in the dismal sales. Then again I doubt it. Mariah had no real hit single this time around and the constant pushbacks hurt the album's chance as well. I previewed the album and I wasn't impressed. I even went back a second time and previewed again and still felt the same. Poor Mariah! Back to the drawing board you go. It looks like the magic between you and Jermaine Dupri is rather stale. Mariah's fans Lambs have been pretty vocal regarding Jermaine's involvement this time around and now it will only continue to go downhill now that the album's first week sales are in.
