Music Feed: Grammy Awards 2014

Chal is serving the TEA!
The Grammy Awards 2014 just went down and there were a lot of winners and a lot of losers. I think one of the biggest upsets I saw on Twitter and Facebook was that Kendrick Lamar won none of the seven awards he was nominated for. There were bits and pieces of the Grammy telecast that I missed. I was switching between the Grammys and RHOA. I did manage to compile the most up-to-date list of the Grammy winners, performers, and presenters. Like I said its not every single winner but its the majority of them. What was your favorite Grammy moment? Well mine was Beyonce and Jay Z performing Drunk In Love of course. I had already mentioned it in the previous post though.

Anyway check out the list of presenters, performers, winners, and my personal highlights.

Daft Punk F/ Pharrell & Nile Rodgers - Get Lucky, Record of the Year
Daft Punk - Random Access Memories, Album of the Year

Highlights: There were a few highlights I managed to notice while watching the Grammys. Here they are in no particular order, first, Madonna looked and sounded like a bad country singer. I wasn't feeling it. Yoko Ono was definitely feeling herself in the crowd as she danced along to some of the performances tonight. Then there were many of the stars I saw in the audience getting down to the music including Steven Tyler, Taylor Swift, Beyonce, and Jay Z. And I'm not sure of how many of you noticed Beyonce in the audience sipping on a glass of wine. Classy indeed! Damn! I'm forgetting the other highlights...oh Jamie Foxx who slurred over his words because he was so mesmerized by Beyonce's presence. And I think that's it. Until next time folks!
