Mariah Carey Being Replaced?, Tamar Braxton To Release New Single

There are stories going around regarding Mariah Carey possibly being ditched from American Idol next season and allegedly during mid season. The show which is nearing its season finale has struggled with ratings. There are rumors that J-LO was going to be brought back in since Mariah had failed to bring it!

American Idol reps are denying the claims!

An artist that was influenced greatly by Mariah Carey is Tamar Braxton. The singer who is several months pregnant recently revealed details on her new single titled The One. The song was produced by LaShawn Daniels(worked with Brandy) and Yung Berg(the rapper...remember him?). The song samples Mtume's Juicy Fruit which is a popularized sample in R&B/Hip Hop music. Most people have probably heard The One already because she's performed it at several showcases for her upcoming Epic Records debut.
