There are still two days left until 2012 is officially over. Looking back there was no shortage of events that took place. We said goodbye to many beloved stars. We saw some stars get caught up in some horrendous and even embarrassing lawsuits. Some got hot and heavy in the romance department and some even came close to death.

Whitney Houston dies at age 48. The singer was reportedly found in the Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel by close friend and associate; Ray J.
Adam Yauch of The Beastie Boys dies at age 47.
Donna Summer dies at age 63 of cancer.
Robin Gibb from The Bee Gees dies of cancer of age 63.
