The R&B Men Are Doing It For Themselves Part 1

The men in R&B have been dominating the charts for quite some time and making the women in R&B appear nonexistent in some cases. The men now have their work cut out for them as several ladies return to the spotlight this Summer.

The men mentioned below are some of the hottest in R&B and one is making their return tonight on the BET Awards. Check it out!

Chris Brown
2012 has proven to be a banner year for the beleaguered star. With several hit songs and hit collaborations Chris Brown is still a magnet for controversy whether its intentional or not. His feud with Drake is now industry legend but its his hit making sensibilities that has made him a household name.

With singles like Strip, Sweet Love, and Till I Die the B in R&B stands for Brown!

Ne-Yo
With a new position at Motown Records Ne-Yo has even more creative control for his new album R.E.D. in stores and online September 18. The album's buzz single Lazy Love featured a provocative video. New single and video for Let Me Love You(Until You Learn To Love Yourself) will debut on July 9.

D'Angelo
D'Angelo's return to music is probably one of the most wanted comebacks of 2012 besides Lauryn Hill. While we continue to wait for Lauryn to drop another album D'Angelo is finally making good with his return. After positive reviews for his overseas tour the singer is now embarking on a US tour with Mary J. Blige and Melanie Fiona.

D'Angelo's new album is rumored to be titled James River. D'Angelo is reportedly signed to J Records.
