Mariah Carey Eyeing American Idol, Sean Garrett Speaks On New Brandy Song

With J-Lo and Steven Tyler abandoning their seats as judges at American Idol a new judge has stepped forward. Mariah Carey is now in the running to replace her used to be rival J-LO. No word on who will replace Steven Tyler.

This may be exactly what Mariah needs to keep her career afloat now that its particularly in danger or anything. Like J-LO though she can use this vehicle for more promotion for herself when launching her new album and other products.

Producer Sean Garrett recently did an interview(which I didn't watch by the way). I can't really stomach him. He mentioned a song Sick by Brandy which may be a single in the future. Several others are claiming the song is her next single but only time will tell.

Sean Garrett likes to brag about his upcoming productions with the likes of all the artists he works with. Sometimes he speaks outta turn and some of the songs he brags about end up being lackluster ones.

The release date for Brandy's new album Two Eleven is unknown. The singer did however recently completed the photo shoot for the album.
